A name to know going forward in the class of 2028, [player_tooltip player_id='1988407' first='Elliot' last='Blankespoor'] held down he left tackle spot for Western Christian this season. Already standing at 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds, Blankespoor has the size to attract attention at the next level.

A strong base that helps get push in the run game and kick-stepping at left tackle that aided in keeping his quarterback clean for the majority of the contest, as the Wolf Pack offensive line allowed just one sack on 55 passing attempts, Blankespoor has a future in the sport as long as he keeps good weight, stays in the weight room and works on the technical aspects of playing offensive line.

A rare, 6-foot-7 quarterback, [player_tooltip player_id='1988421' first='Landon' last='DeStigter'] stands out simply for his height under center for Western Christian. A QB that can stand back and survey the defense, just how much the Wolf Pack trusted their senior quarterback was displayed on Friday night against the Falcons in the willingness to drop back and throw 55 times. Of course, playing from behind will force a team to do so, but DeStigter had earned every right to attempt to lead his team back to victory.

DeStigter isn't a deep-shot quarterback, but his intermediate and short game is high level. Spreading the ball around to five receivers, his willingness to trust multiple pass-catchers exemplified leadership and the talent that surrounds him at Western Christian.

The first of three receivers that stood out for the Wolf Pack on Friday night, Gavin Brands wasn't a huge factor in the passing game for Western Christian this season, but he led his team in receiving against OABCIG.

Finishing with nine catches for 111 yards, Brands caught multiple passes on the second drive of the third quarter for the Wolf Pack, making catches and turning them up field for gains when they needed it most.

Defensively, Brands ran down quarterback, [player_tooltip player_id='1198827' first='Raif' last='Jensen'] on a 70-yard scamper, stopping him just before he reached the endzone, showing extra effort his team needed in an attempt to come back.

DeStigter's go-to receiver throughout the season, [player_tooltip player_id='1370590' first='Kolby' last='Heemskerk'] finished the year with 54 receptions for 716 yards and ten touchdowns. Just under one-third of his completions went to Heemskerk and half of his passing scores landed in the hands of his fellow senior.

Heemskerk is a possession receiver that served as DeStigter's safety valve when a play would break down, a pass-catcher that works well in space with quick cuts and hands to pluck the ball out of the air, Heemskerk also served as a returner for the Wolf Pack this season, providing plays when his team needed them.

Almost a carbon-copy of Heemskerk but two years younger, [player_tooltip player_id='1988427' first='Tayden' last='Moret'] was the last of the three receivers that DeStigter primarily relied on Friday evening. With five receptions for 52 yards, Moret may not have DeStigter to catch passes from next season, but whomever steps in at quarterback will have a playmaker on the perimeter in the receiver that has sticky hands and can make plays in the open field.

Listing himself as a QB/ATH in his X bio, Moret may actually be the quintessential, receiver-turned-quarterback by way of a senior graduating. If so, the Wolf Pack won't have the super tall thrower back there like they did this season, but Moret's athleticism and playmaking ability may make the Western Christian offense more dynamic next season, if he does play QB.
