The action kicks off a month-long march to the title game on Nov. 20 in the UNI-Dome. Student-athletes will lock in as they pursue their dream of being the last ones standing before heading off to Thanksgiving dinner.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here's a closer look at 10 guys who could be&nbsp;<a href="https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/283453/where-does-x-factor-meaning-noteworthy-special-talent-or-quality-come-from">X-Factors</a>&nbsp;during the postseason in the Eight-Player classification:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1197458' first='Landon' last='Blum'], JR, DE/WR, Woodbine: </strong>A junior boasting multiple Power 4 scholarship offers, Blum is a matchup problem for most opponents at this level. He's caught 33 passes for 649 yards and 16 touchdowns, adding a score on the ground with four pancake blocks to his credit. Blum has four solo tackles, a tackle for loss, a sack, an interception and a pass defended. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1197463' first='Nolan' last='Kriegel'], JR, ATH, Iowa Valley: </strong>Kriegel has played unbelievably this season. He has thrown 10 touchdown passes, rushed for 1,407 yards (11.6 YPC) and 33 scores, caught three balls for 87 yards and a pair of TDs, and accounted for 10 two-point conversions. On defense, he registered 20.5 tackles (15 solo, 8.0 TFL), a sack and a Pick-6. He's averaged 42.7 yards with two touchdowns on three kick returns. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Teagan Hanson, SR, QB/S, GTRA: </strong>Hanson has enjoyed a dynamite senior campaign. He's thrown for 33 touchdowns with only five interceptions, ran for 292 yards (7.1 YPC) and five scores, caught a three-yard TD and was responsible for four two-point conversions. Defensively, he recorded 37.5 tackles (24 solo, .5 TFL) and recovered a fumble. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1242287' first='Tate' last='Foertsch'], SR, QB/DB, Bishop Garrigan: </strong>Foertsch tossed 20 touchdown passes without in interception. He ran 593 yards (11.4 YPC) and 10 more scores. He posted 24.5 tackles (20 solo, 2.0 TFL) and intercepted seven (yes, seven) passes, returning two of them to the house. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1601642' first='Jax' last='Steger'], SO, QB/LB, Edgewood-Colesburg: </strong>Steger has thrown for 1,329 yards and 23 touchdowns against just two interceptions, added 860 yards (11.9 YPC) and 14 scores, and 31 two-point conversions. He accounted for 20.0 tackles (12 solo, 1.5 TFL), and averaged 53.0 yards on three kick returns and two TDs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1197467' first='Treyvon' last='Herron'], JR, RB/LB, Gladbrook-Reinbeck: </strong>Herron has rumbled for 776 yards (14.1 YPC) and 17 touchdowns, and caught 11 balls for 191 yards and three scores. On defense, he registered 43.5 tackles (26 solo, 10.0 TFL), a sack, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, three interceptions and two passes defended. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Aiden Kjergaard, SO, QB/DB, Audubon: </strong>The sophomore threw for seven touchdowns without an interception. He also ran for 1,046 yards (12.0 YPC) and 23 scores. Kjergaard also posted 10.5 tackles (5 solo, .5 TFL) with four interceptions, two of which he returned for TDs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Ty Christensen, SR, RB/DB, Don Bosco: </strong>Christensen rushed for 705 yards (8.4 YPC) and 14 touchdowns. He also caught 15 balls for 257 yards and four scores. He came up with 22.0 tackles (15 solo, 1.5 TFL) and a Pick-6. He averaged 27.9 yards on 10 kick returns and 16.1 with two TDs on 13 punt returns. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1358997' first='Sawyer' last='Forney'], SR, QB/DB, Fremont-Mills: </strong>Forney has thrown for 15 touchdowns with just two interceptions, and ran for 326 yards (6.2 YPC) and eight scores. He registered 32.5 tackles (22 solos, 1.5 TFL), seven interceptions and two passes defended. He also averaged 15.8 yards on five punt returns. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1242285' first='Keagan' last='Lee'], SR, QB/DB, Easton Valley: </strong>Lee completed 72.1 percent of his passes for 1,915 yards and 32 touchdowns and four interceptions. He rushed for 898 yards (9.3 YPC) and 16 scores, and added 16 two-point conversions. He picked up 25.0 tackles (20 solo) and an interception.
