The impact Gabriel-Georges had last Friday in the Red Raiders come from behind 38-35 win over McCallie was massive and a big reason why we named him our PRZTN POTW for “Week Seven.” This junior ball carrier produced at a high level, almost nearly running for 300 yards on a good Blue Tornado defense but it was his knack for making the big play at the right time that earned this top honor. Gabriel-Georges has been sensational this season and probably sits at the top of the board for Mr. Football. That statement becomes extra true with top tier performances against stellar competition, like last week versus the Red Raiders cross town rival.

If it wasn't for the guy mentioned above, Gibson would be your POTW. The Tigers junior running back was unstoppable last week in the team's big 35-6 win over Knox. Catholic. His power running style, vision to field the open field and a second gear was tough to deal with for the Fighting Irish defense. Gibson has pushed his game to another level this year where he is the Tigers top offensive producer while placing himself in the conversation for Mr. Football. This kind of game and season thus far for Gibson will boost his college stock and have coaches taking a deeper look into his next level upside.

Jackson played with his hair on fire in last week's region win over Rockvale. The Patriots senior D-lineman was all over the Rockets backfield, making tons of play against the run while also providing a pass rush. He got home most every time Jackson reached the ball. His instincts towards getting himself in position to make plays are strong and it helps that the Pats D-lineman competes with a high octane motor. This has been a breakout season for Jackson, where he has established himself as a team leader and someone that plays consistent football week in and week out.

Upperman Bees (Notable Players: [player_tooltip player_id='1566197' first='Parker' last='Cox'], Andrew Hughes, [player_tooltip player_id='1694975' first='Noah' last='Tarver'])

- The Bees sit at 5-2 overall after their “Week Seven” road win over Livingston Academy with their offensive line paving the way. The big men up front helped produce six offensive touchdowns with five of them on the ground as well as open holes for two 100 yard rushers. The Upperman offensive line set the tone early in their win over the Wildcats and maintained physical play till the very end. The Bees have a potent offense that can help the team go deep in the playoffs and it looks like their O-line is starting to hit their stride.

QB: [player_tooltip player_id='914547' first='Kaedyn' last='Marable'] - BGA (Stats: 19-23 passing for 374 yds & 5 TD's - 18 yds rushing, 1 TD)

- Coming off the team's 1st loss of the season, Marable and his team bounced back big last week where this future Columbia Lion quarterback went off for nearly 400 offensive yards. Flawless is the word that comes to mind about Marable's stat sheet as he threw only four incompletions while tossing for five touchdowns and running for one more.

- All this guy has done all year long is produce at a high level and Fullen did so yet again last week in the Rebels 49-13 win over Fayette Academy. This senior running back made every carry matter as he generated over 300 yards rushing and five touchdowns on only 12 carries. Fullen sits under the radar for college right now but his stock is definitely exploding this Fall.

WR: [player_tooltip player_id='1554199' first='Payton' last='Niehaus'] - Mt. Pleasant (Stats: 8 rec. for 185 yds & 2 TD's)

- Niehaus has been a major addition to the Tigers team this year, playing key roles on both sides with last week being his best performance to date on the offensive side of the ball. This senior two-way prospect was dynamic in the Tigers win over Adamsville where Niehaus scored twice on 8 receptions and 185 yards receiving.

- The Indians moved to 4-2 on the season in last week's victory over Hardin Co. with Smith being the most impressive talent on the field. No matter where he was on the field, the future Tennessee Volunteer produced. Smith generated four touchdowns, both through the air and on the ground along with nearly 300 yards of total offense.

- Crider was a force that couldn't be stopped last week in the Warriors 21-14 region win over Chatt. Christian where this senior defensive end produced 10 tackles with three of them for loss and two sacks on the night. His motor was on full-go all night long. Crider did good work getting after the passer while also making several key stops against the run.

LB: Jack Csillag - Johnson Co. (Stats: 22 tcks, 6 TFL, 2 FF & 2 sacks)

- Csillag was inches away from being named our defensive player of the week. Even though his Longhorns team took defeat, this senior linebacker was superb and a force the opposition could not keep out of the backfield. Csillag has been productive this entire season and quietly working on an All-State selection by season's end.

DB: Lane Bruce - East Robertson ‘27 (Stats: 8 tcks, 1 PD & 2 Int's)

- This junior defensive back had his best showing of the season in “Week Seven” where Bruce showed up strong in stopping the run while also being a ball hawk on the back end with two interceptions. His work from the secondary played a big role in the Indians 43-12 region victory over East Hickman while pushing his team's record to 7-0 overall.
