Mayson's film makes it clear, there's far more here than meets the eye. He's a bit unassuming at first glance, small stature, but once the tape rolls, the arm talent and confidence immediately jump off the screen. Shows a live arm with the ability to drive next-level hole shots into tight windows, the kind of throws most freshmen wouldn't even attempt, let alone complete.

Comfortable operating out of a spread look but also shows adaptability, as seen on a zone-read mesh near the red zone where he tucked it and ran for a score himself. Displays poise and creativity when the play breaks down, showing maturity beyond his years.

Rare to see a young quarterback with this blend of downfield vision, arm strength, range, and overall feel for the field. Mechanics are still developing, there's some exaggeration in his hitches and wind-up, but that's expected at this stage. You can see some lower-body compensation due to his current height, but again, that's a non-issue for his age and frame. At times throws off the balls of his feet, yet still generates plenty of velocity.

A young quarterback with natural ability, visible confidence, and clear developmental upside, one who could turn heads quickly as he matures and tightens up his mechanics.

A brief mid-season tape was uploaded onto Hudl a little over a week ago. Does a good job keeping things in front of him. Excels in off-coverage looks. Closes to the football well, thanks to both advanced technique and physical traits. Quick reaction out of the backpedal or break phase, shows the ability to hit a short-area “second gear” when driving on routes or undercutting throws. Aims for the pocket of the receiver's hands, not the ball's path, why a ton of PBUs are recorded on tape. Want to see more before I get more excited about his future ranking.

No tape on Hudl, once full game tape surfaces and the production lines up, he'll have every chance to move out of the watch group and into serious evaluation talks. That being siad, Bosco caught my attention via several impressive Twitter clips. It's likely that Bosco can't get his tape onto Hudl, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I'll wait for a mid-season tape to give him a complete evaluation.

One of the most explosive athletes I've seen on tape in recent weeks/months. His acceleration is so sudden that it almost looks sped up. Possesses elite open-field movement skills and rare top-end speed, able to hit a second and third gear instantly. A true home-run threat who can score from anywhere on the field, whether as a receiver or on special teams.

Thrives as a dominant slot option in this offense, with the versatility to attack all three levels. Far more effective after contact and in space than expected, shows real balance and core strength through traffic. Simply put, defenders at this level can't match his burst, his cutting ability leaves DBs and linebackers in District 1 grasping for air.

Carries a clear Division I grade based on his speed and open-field threat potential alone. Verifiable testing numbers and measurables will be crucial in solidifying that projection. If Edmondson's defensive reps were available on film, I'd have no hesitation in pounding the table for immediate FCS attention. I've since learned he does play DB, just not featured in the mid-season cut, which only makes his overall profile more intriguing.

Right tackle at Shaler Area. Prototypical size for the position, want to see what his tape looks like at 265-270 pounds. Fantastic 2nd-half of rep performer. Great finisher who wants to bury kids in the run game. Can be a right tackle to lead/direct the flow of the run game, a play-side dominator who can work as a reach or down blocker. Room for improvement off the snap and early in reps, footwork can get him in better position. Pad level can be more consistent, but a ton of positives to work with, especially considering Gray is an underclassman. Likely to rank relatively high considering the full package he provides, size, lower back strength, leg drive, temperament, etc.

First rep has the sophomore serving as an impact blocker from a sniffer/TE alignment. The rep proves his toughness, proves he can read assignments on the fly. Next rep shows why he'll rank well among true TEs, running a corner out of an in-line alignment 3pt-stance. Love the burst off the LOS. This is a real athlete, no lumbering out of stance. Nasty/mean streak, kid finishes blocks with authority, awesome to see a kid impact block at his weight. I could only imagine what a bulk up to 240 at the next level would do, especially if he can expand on his pass-catching skills and route tree. Great hat and backside placement as a blocker, great down blocker, fantastic footwork allows him to win early in reps. Likely an animal on the defensive side of the ball. An expanded role would make me more comfortable providing a D1 grade. Seeing him live would help too, to confirm H/W. Great find here.

First rep shows off motor and effort, love that from a kid his age. Works out of a four-man front. Understands offensive scheme, evident when unblocked, makes correct decisions off the snap, and plays with a controlled discipline that is tough to come by, especially when talking of underclassman edge rushers. Limb length combined with momentum off the snap has Verdream creating distance between his chest and his opponents, making lateral shedding a piece of cake. Like his rep at the 1:25 mark, often seen winning with motor, brains, size, I want to see him win more often the way he does at rep 1:25. Speed and twitch off the edge, win on an island against equally massive tackle prospects. I see flashes of pure edge rush ability, things to work on as he's just a 2028. Exciting stuff.
