Oregon's Top Performers- Week 7 and 8

No Particular Order         Week 8         [player_tooltip player_id='769925' first='Oliver' last='Luebkert'] 26' WR Beaverton     The record setting performance everyone is talking about. Luebkert put up numbers that could last for a while in the record books, catching 16 passes for 393 yards and 7 total TD's (6 receiving), in the 79-62 loss to Sunset.   [player_tooltip player_id='1110921' first='Chaz' last='Katoanga'] 26' DB/ [player_tooltip player_id='1660153' first='Abraham' last='Zhyryada'] 26' DT Nelson    Give Nelson all the credit in the world for what they are doing this season, destroying all the norms from years past. The 26-6 win over Central Catholic was a statement game with the state's #1 ranked DB for 2026 Katoanga picking off 2 more passes. The 6-5 310-pound DL standout Zhyryada is criminally underrated, finishing with a sack, forced fumble, and 3 tackles, while completely dominating the interior.    [player_tooltip player_id='937241' first='Cole' last='Hachmeister'] 27' RB Tualatin     Tualatin lost 52-28 to #1 West Linn, but the speedster performed well, rushing 17 times for 146 yards and 2 TDs. It's a been a nice 1-2 punch with him and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1609595' first='Iden' last='Rule'] being two of the top underclassmen in the state.    [player_tooltip player_id='1684534' first='Jettson' last='Gillam'] 27' DE & [player_tooltip player_id='1990096' first='Tanner' last='Loch'] 27' LB Mountain View      The 6-4 235-pound Gillam is one of the fastest rising prospects in the 27' class. He is a having a 1st team all-state season, with both him and his teammate Loch finishing with 2 sacks in the 21-6 win over Ridgeview.    [player_tooltip player_id='1256167' first='Samuel' last='David Johnson'] 27' WR South Salem   The Saxons are 0-8 on the season but statistically they have been exceptional which is an interesting dynamic. Johnson has been one of the state's breakout junior's, grabbing another 9 balls for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 21-20 loss to North Medford.   [player_tooltip player_id='1990085' first='Zane' last='Carley'] 26' LB Tualatin    Carley is a potential 1st team all TRL guy which is a big deal in the NW's toughest conference. His 10 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 TFL's, and 3 hurries against the state's #1 team was impressive.   [player_tooltip player_id='769997' first='Talen' last='Williams'] 26' WR Crook County   Williams is having a 1st team all-conference season even with the Cowboys at 2-6 overall. He went for 209 all-purpose yards (6 receptions for 118 and a TD with 91 kick return yards). This doesn't include another 98-yard return that was called back, along with 10.5 tackles on D, in the 41-14 loss to Caldera.    [player_tooltip player_id='1232743' first='Daniel' last='Heninger'] 26' RB Glencoe     Just another 5 TD game from Heninger. The senior rushed 37 times for 401 yards (yes you read that right) in the 42-34 victory over a good Newberg team. He's literally been on this list every week.    [player_tooltip player_id='1232699' first='Cade' last='Mitchell'] 26' QB/ [player_tooltip player_id='1566148' first='Sean' last='Gerigk'] 26' ATH Mountainside      Once again Mitchell and Gerigk have been on this list as much as anyone this season. They left no doubt in the 42-7 win over Westview with Cade hitting on 75% of his passes with 5 TD's/0 INTs. Gerigk had another monster game with 6 catches for 138 yards and 3 TDs.    [player_tooltip player_id='1591745' first='Ryder' last='Carpenter'] 27' RB Mt View    One of the state's best football and baseball players continues to kill it. Carpenter rushed 28 times for 142 yards and 2 TDs in the 21-6 win over a good Ridgeview team. Mountain View and Summit are both 5A title favorites.    [player_tooltip player_id='1121755' first='Tyson' last='Donnerberg'] 27' DB, [player_tooltip player_id='1609758' first='Jake' last='Hamper'] 28' DB, [player_tooltip player_id='1609760' first='Luke' last='Cutting'] 28' DB West Linn     It's been unreal how many young guys have stepped up for the #1 Lions. On Friday Donnerberg took a 50-yard INT to the house, with sophomore's Hamper and Cutting getting in the mix and making a pick of their own, in the 52-28 win over Tualatin.    [player_tooltip player_id='937232' first='Kellen' last='Bowman'] 27' QB South Salem    The recent UP Baseball commit has continued to put up insane numbers for the 0-8 Saxons. They are likely the best winless team in America with Bowman going 31/48 for 403 yards and 4 total TD's (2 rush, 2 pass) in the 21-20 loss to North Medford.    [player_tooltip player_id='1990089' first='Marcus' last='Hahm'] 26' QB Sunset        Who? I didn't know much about Hahm until he went for 449 total yards and 9 TDs in the 79-62 win over Beaverton. His 6 rushing TDs at QB spoke to his dominance against the Beavers.     [player_tooltip player_id='1566149' first='Corbin' last='Croslin'] 26' RB   Crosslin was key in their huge 26-6 win over CC, helping with ball control and rushing 33 times for 139 yards and 3 TD's. He could be a small college standout.    [player_tooltip player_id='936846' first='Leonardo' last='Correani'] 27' LB Lincoln     Correani was a tackling machine in the 29-0 win over Jeff. His numbers were ridiculous finishing with 23 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and a TD. He continues to be one of Oregon's top juniors.    [player_tooltip player_id='1629424' first='Jayden' last='Morales'] 26' LB Sheldon   This kid deserves some recognition. Even with the Irish having a tough season Morales has been consistent each week, finishing with 7 tackles, 2 PBU's and an INT in the 34-10 loss to Grants Pass.          Week 7         [player_tooltip player_id='937233' first='Sloan' last='Baker'] 27' QB/ [player_tooltip player_id='632957' first='Josiah' last='Molden'] 27' ATH West Linn     What hasn't Baker done this season. He was extra clutch in the 38-16 win over Lake O, accounting for 5 TDs (4 passing) with 216 yards. Two of those went to the All American Molden.    [player_tooltip player_id='936972' first='Elijah' last='Greenan Biggs'] 27' RB Scappoose     One of the most impressive RBs in Oregon this season has been Greenan- Biggs. The junior went for 252 yards and 4 TDs on 36 carries in their 39-28 win over Tillamook. He will be a POY candidate at the 4A level.    [player_tooltip player_id='770006' first='Joe' last='Stimpson'] 26' ATH Jesuit     Stimpson didn't waste any time getting back in the mix, hauling in 144 receiving yards and a TD in the team's Metro League clinching 28-23 victory over Mountainside.    [player_tooltip player_id='1990091' first='Landon' last='Tomlin'] 26' Safety West Salem       Tomlin will make a nice jump up the rankings board with the Titans having a successful season. He came up with 2 of the teams 4 INTs in the 55-0 win over South Salem.    [player_tooltip player_id='935448' first='Colin' last='Smith'] 27' ATH/ [player_tooltip player_id='1673573' first='Kaeden' last='Emerson'] 26' QB Oregon City    One of the state's fastest athletes Smith was key on both sides of the ball for OC with a touchdown and an INT in the 21-14 win over Tigard. The 6-4 QB Emerson has been one of Oregon's breakout 26's at the QB spot.    [player_tooltip player_id='1990094' first='Finn' last='Davies'] 26' QB, [player_tooltip player_id='1660161' first='Blake' last='Timothy'] 26' ATH, [player_tooltip player_id='1990100' first='Reed' last='Eldridge'] 27' WR , [player_tooltip player_id='1119890' first='Greyson' last='Murff'] 27' RB Lincoln   Everyone at Lincoln got involved during the team's 54-38 win over Wells, with the senior QB Davies throwing 4 TDs (2 each) to Timothy and the 6-2 170-pound junior Eldridge. Fellow 2027 RB Murph was outstanding rushing for 169 yards and 2 TD's (1 kick return).    [player_tooltip player_id='1560665' first='Brevik' last='Hill'] 27' WR Grants Pass   Hill has been of the top receivers in the entire NW over the last two years, catching another 9 passes for 123 yards and a TD, in the 32-21 win over Sprague. His stock continues to rise.    [player_tooltip player_id='402397' first='Brison' last='Edwards'] 26' QB/ [player_tooltip player_id='1585711' first='Logan' last='Large'] 26' WR/[player_tooltip player_id='1990104' first='Barrett' last='Kleiven'] 28' DB 5-8 170 Lebanon   Lebanon is undefeated in conference thus far with Edwards accounting for 5 TDs (4 passing) and 326 yards in the win over #2 Silverton 34-28. Large has come up clutch all year and he did that again with 179 receiving yards and 3 TDs. Defensively the sophomore Kleiven had 2 big INTs.    [player_tooltip player_id='1165789' first='Keona' last='Tam'] 26' ATH/[player_tooltip player_id='1359052' first='Trevor' last='Glos'] 27' QB Wilsonville     Glos has had one of the best seasons of any underclassmen in Oregon, passing for another 296 yards and 4 TDs in the 35-0 win over Aloha. Tam is an under the radar athlete who totaled 123 yards and 3 TDs.    [player_tooltip player_id='1990102' first='Wyatt' last='Kerrigan'] 27' RB/ [player_tooltip player_id='1161283' first='Madden' last='Hughes'] 28' QB Stayton    #7 ranked Stayton has some talented young guys with the junior RB Kerrigan rushing for 135 yards and 2 TDs in the 42-7 win over Woodburn. The sophomore Hughes passed for 185 and a TD.    [player_tooltip player_id='770007' first='Logan' last='Uitto'] 26' WR Silverton      Even with the 34-28 loss to Lebanon, Uitto showed that he should be considered among the top players at the 5A level, going for 138 receiving yards and 2 TDs.    [player_tooltip player_id='1939267' first='Brody' last='Joyce'] 28' QB Canby     The Cougars are super young and have dudes coming up that should be a factor. The sophomore QB Joyce was key in the 41-7 win over Forest Grove throwing 3 TDs.
