Offers are flying around in the month of January, which means several Northwest prospects are seeing their stock soar.

In the state of Oregon, several prospects are seeing their stock take off.

West Linn athlete [player_tooltip player_id='632957' first='Josiah' last='Molden'] (2027) has been a known commodity since the eighth grade, so he's not likely to make a “stock rising” article.

But his recruitment is noteworthy, as he is down to a final six of Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, USC and Washington.

But this article is about the risers in Oregon - with analysis on players who have suddenly found themselves either stacking offers or gaining heavy interest.

DL [player_tooltip player_id='1654734' first='PJ' last='Tautu'], Central Catholic (2028) — Recently named the No. 1 player in the state of Oregon for the class of 2028, the 6-foot-4, 260-pound defensive lineman was the clear-cut MVP of the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase.

Tautu has picked up offers from Oregon State, Washington State and others, and it seems unlikely his stock will cool any time soon.

He's clearly Oregon's top 2028 prospect right now.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='937176' first='Malachi' last='Garlington'], Nelson (2027) — Not only is the 6-foot-3 pass-catcher starting to stack up the offers, but he's also beginning to hear from some major Power 4 conference programs.

Garlington has risen more than maybe any other prospect in Oregon since the start of the fall football season.

And that won't be slowing down any time soon.

He'll be a double-digit offer guy - and soon.

DL [player_tooltip player_id='1246545' first='Josh' last='Christensen'], Lake Oswego (2027) — The Three Rivers League Defensive Lineman of the Year has added multiple offers since mid-November, highlighted by Northwestern, Oregon State, Washington State and others.

This week, Oregon Ducks coach Dan Lanning stopped by to check things out at Lake Oswego.

Christensen is a Power 4 guy, and the recruitment shows it now.

LB [player_tooltip player_id='791149' first='Kawai' last='Chamberlin'], Willamette — For awhile Chamberlin looked like he was flying under the radar, but he's gained steam of late.

He's added seven scholarship offers, including Oregon State, and he recently took an unofficial visit to check out the Oregon Ducks.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker has looked the part of a Power 4 conference ‘backer for much of the year.

Teams are taking notice.

OL/DL Cade Wilson, Banks (2027) — Why are so many college football coaches swinging by Banks over the past two weeks?

Well, former Oregon Duck Cole Linehan does a nice job with the program, but they are there for 6-foot-4, 270-pound interior lineman Cade Wilson.

So far, he's picked up an offer from Idaho, but Boise State, Oregon State, Oregon, Utah State and others have swung by to visit the under-the-radar program.

Wilson's stock is rising fast.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='937183' first='Aris' last='Dimick'], Tigard (2027) — Oregon is known for producing quality quarterbacks and Tigard is, traditionally, one of the state's top programs.

So, when the Tigers have a 6-foot-4, 200-pound signal-caller with a big arm and upside, it's no surprise to see teams checking him out.

Dimick has largely flown under the radar as a prospect, but that is changing since the fall.

The Big Sky and Pac-12 have shown interest.

TE [player_tooltip player_id='1609596' first='Brady' last='Knips'], Tualatin (2028) — Turns out college football programs are intriguing by a 6-foot-5, 205-pound multi-sport athlete with a 3.8 GPA.

Knips has gone from a player to keep an eye on to a guy who is likely to generate big-time offers before his high school career is over.

Knips has a chance to “pop” over the next year and push to be a top-three prospect in the state.

TE [player_tooltip player_id='1242768' first='George' last='VanSandt'], Central Catholic (2027) — Forgive my ignorance. I thought VanSandt was a 6-foot-5, 235-pound kid who was primarily a blocker.

But he's shown impressive agility this offseason and looks the part of a riser.

He added an offer from New Mexico recently, and more should be on the way.

Color me impressed.

ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1125493' first='Reece' last='Ballew'], Mountainside (2027) — Ballew was an intriguing prospect coming out of his sophomore campaign, rushing for 522 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 9.3 yards per carry.

However, an injury derailed his junior campaign.

Still, he entered last weekend's Oregon Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase with an intriguing resume.

All he did was enhance the intrigue.

Ballew was the running back MVP and proved un-coverable in the open field.

More impressive, his L-Drill (6.32) was first nationally among PRZ camps and his 5-10-5 time was third (4.03).

The camp season will be huge for him and he could pop if he can stay healthy.

LB [player_tooltip player_id='1878396' first='Aidan' last='Galusha'], Dallas (2027) — Flying under the radar at Dallas, [player_tooltip player_id='1878396' first='Aidan' last='Galusha'] was a star on both sides of the ball.

He registered 76 tackles and nine sacks with 590 yards rushing (8.4 yards per carry) and 13 touchdowns.

But how would he stack up against better competition?

At the PRZ Stock Up Showcase, Galusha was the linebacker MVP and looked every bit the part of one of the best overall players at the camp.

He's definitely worth a look for smaller schools and even FCS programs, because the talent is clear.
