It's that time again! In case you missed it, we updated our 2026 rankings, and we have plenty of stock-risers. I've already gone behind the scenes on this update, giving fans an idea about our thinking and decisions within the rankings.

Gillis looks like a completely different quarterback as a senior, and that's reflected in his movement, as he was our biggest stock-riser in the update. It's not just the numbers--though there's been marked statistical improvement--but how comfortable he looks at this stage. He's being more decisive as a passer and a runner, having already eclipsed last year's yardage and touchdown numbers. He's gone from a potential walk-on spot to a guy we think could start early at the Division II or Division III level.

Melton has a unique profile as an efficient passer who excels as a runner. In fact, he's an elite rushing threat, and he's throwing more this season, even as C.E. Jordan rolls. He takes care of the football (only nine total turnovers in two seasons at Jordan) and has improved his accuracy while still pushing the ball down the field. The rushing prowess is what will entice recruiters, though, as he has track speed and great change-of-direction.

Harrison still needs to improve his accuracy as a passer, but he's stepped up his game as a power runner as a senior. He's added about 20 pounds of good weight, and he's shown more decisiveness in his scrambling decisions. He's worked on his mechanics and when his feet are calm in the pocket, he can generate a lot of power and accurately deliver, especially down the field.

Back in August, we pegged Presley as a guy who could rise in this rankings update, and that has come true as he's taken the next step in his development. Last year, he showed some flashes, but lacked the type of consistency we want to see from upperclassmen. This year, the film is confirming what we saw of Presley in camp over the summer. He's refined his accuracy, quickened his decision-making, and is leading a Hunter Huss squad that currently sits 5-2. He's not a finished product, but the improvement is noted.

Lott didn't have far to move amongst a strong top of the class, but he's played as well as any quarterback in the state this season. Lott has been the model of consistency for Providence Day, and he's improved his accuracy and decision-making this year. He's thrown just one pick in six games, compared to 17 touchdowns, throwing to all fields and showcasing a true college arm.

Flynn has improved in two key areas as a senior, making him an obvious choice as a stock-riser. Always a gunslinger, Flynn has struggled at times with accuracy and decision-making. After averaging over 10 interceptions in each of his first three years as a starter, Flynn has raised his completion percentage by 13%. He's just four touchdown passes from a career-high, and he's flashed as a runner this year.
