A wide receiver/linebacker hybrid for the Hawks that projects as a defensive back at the next level, Bowlin has registered stats in just about every category during his senior year of ball. He leads the way in receiving for Lynnville-Sully by a long shot, catching 33 passes for 521 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, he's put together 21 total tackles, including 4.5 tackles-for-loss (TFLs) and recovered a fumble. A returner for the Hawks, as well, Bowling has taken five kicks back for 132 yards and eight punts for 173 yards.

One of the top defensive backs in the state, coming in as the No. 4 DB in the Class of 2026, Ankeny's [player_tooltip player_id='401675' first='Lamarious' last='Clark'] committed to the University of Northern Iowa just this last weekend, October 19.

A monster on the backend of the Hawks' defense, Clark has registered four interceptions this season, including a pick-six. In fact, the grabbed interceptions three games in a row in September. He's also recovered two fumbles this season for Ankeny, returning one for a touchdown. All of that to go along with 22 tackles and 3.5 TFLs.

An All-State DB, Clark has 11 career interceptions to go with 129.5 career tackles. He chose the Panthers over Upper Iowa and Minnesota State.

Another in-state win and get from the Des Moines-metro area for the Panthers, Dowling Catholic wide receiver, [player_tooltip player_id='1619623' first='Sam' last='Drexler'] picked UNI in late September.

The leader in receptions for the Maroons, Drexler has posted 46 catches for 680 yards and seven touchdowns this season for Dowling. Part of an elite passing attack, Drexler plays alongside Iowa State commit, [player_tooltip player_id='1241492' first='Jeffrey' last='Roberts'] and catches passes from FCS-target quarterback, [player_tooltip player_id='401674' first='Joey' last='Nahas'].

Drexler chose the Panthers over offers from Western Illinois, Upper Iowa and Dakota State.

The second Ankeny product to make their college decision this month is [player_tooltip player_id='1687041' first='Owen' last='Liechti'], an offensive lineman for the Hawks that committed to Montana on October 6.

Standing at 6-foot-7 and 285 pounds, Liechti is a big OL, but with his height, he has even more weight to fill out on his frame, and he has a chance to be a tall, physically imposing OL at the next level for the Grizzlies. Liechti ultimately chose Montana over UAB, Northern Iowa, Columbia and Cornell.

One of the more productive QBs in Class 2A and the most recent commit on this list, [player_tooltip player_id='1100526' first='Judah' last='Lock'] opted to select Concordia St. Paul on October 20.

So far this season, Lock has completed 121-of-205 passes (59%) for 1,723 yards, 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions. On the ground, he's taken 60 carries for 159 yards and four scores. A contributor on the defensive side of the ball, as well, for Grand View Christian, Lock has posted 30.5 tackles, three TFLs, a forced fumble, four pass-breakups (PBUs) and an interception.

He picked Concordia over offers from Mount Marty, Mount Mercy and Ottawa.
