A wide receiver/linebacker hybrid for the Hawks that projects as a defensive back at the next level, Bowlin has registered stats in just about every category during his senior year of ball. He leads the way in receiving for Lynnville-Sully by a long shot, catching 33 passes for 521 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, he’s put together 21 total tackles, including 4.5 tackles-for-loss (TFLs) and recovered a fumble. A returner for the Hawks, as well, Bowling has taken five kicks back for 132 yards and eight punts for 173 yards.

He picked Grandview over an offer from Sioux Falls.

Another big-bodied wideout at the Class A level, Jack Bowlin Jack Bowlin 6'3" | 195 lbs | DB Lynnvillesully | 2026 State IA caught 32 passes for 584 yards and six scores last season for Lynnville-Sully. A rare linebacker/receiver hybrid, Bowlin can stick his foot in the ground and shake off defensive backs, running more precise routes than one would think at first glance. Bowlin can get open when needed in the short passing game and beat his receiver on a go-route, too.

For Class A Lynnville-Sully, Bowlin contributed in all three phases. He caught 32 passes for 584 yards and six touchdowns. Bowlin registered 41.5 tackles, 37 of which were solo, and intercepted four passes with two Pick-6s. On special teams, he returned six kicks for 114 yards, and brought back two punts for 34 yards. On his junior highlight video, Bowlin provides evidence that he can be a productive safety or linebacker at the next level. He operates fluidly in coverage and can bring the hammer when stopping the run. Some programs might prefer Bowlin as a receiver, where he does a nice job of making people miss in space.
