This same quickness shows itself in the form as athleticism on offense. As a tight end, we actually see Fogelstrom take a toss to the house for a big gain went sent in orbit motion. An astute block recognizer, he fights to the inside gap when defenders attempt to seal him. In a similar fashion, he fights reach blocks down the line with extended arms so he may rip off and make plays. If Fogelstrom finds himself washed, he will spin back to the play and try to get a part of it. This same get off allows him to fly around the field full speed and categorize himself as a hustle player. Something I appreciated about Byrnes' game was that as he closes in on the quarterback he tends to attack their arm, looking to make a havoc play. Mahon is able to get down hill in a hurry and does a great job of tackling low and wraps well through the thigh pads. Additionally, Mahon keeps his head to the side and keeps his leverage when tackling. In pass coverage, we see that Mahon drives on crossing routes, delivering his body to break up the pass in the process, flexing and showing off his physicality. Like a textbook linebacker, Mahon diagnoses run first and then drops to his spot in pass coverage. That ability to quickly assess what is going on in front of him lets him make plays as he shoots the backside window. An explosive, full-force tackler, he uses his momentum and explosion to burst through the line as proficiently as he can lay the wood. This explosion takes the form of physicality when he takes on linemen, doing so with his flipper. At his best, Baker is playing down hill or fighting against the reach. Jordan might have been a lineman at one point due to the outstanding fundamentals of blocking he demonstrates. We see him work his hands in tight to the chest plate of his assignment and pump his feet in short, choppy steps. As a lead blocker, Jordan is one that tailbacks can trust. He has good vision to find the hole and also the presence of mind to clean up any leakage along the way. Subtly, we see him win with his head, positioning it correctly upfield to seal angles from pursuing defenders. A tight end, Jackson has solid bend for someone his size. Blessed with his size, it is accompanied by strength - enough strength to level opposing linemen without even coming out of his hips. His strength up top allows him to also hold the point of attack should he be unable to get movement.
