[player_tooltip player_id='402266' first='Jarrett' last='Serate']- Curtis

Serate, can play both sides of the ball, but fits a more defensive profile for Curtis, and at the next level. We were in attendance for his week one game against North Rockland, where he displayed incredible strength, and a high motor. I like his coach ability, as he made some mistakes during that game, but fixed his issues and made big defensive stops right after. Serate, stands at 6'2" 270-Pounds. He does a great job using his hands, and tracks the ball, keeping his eyes in the backfield at all times.

King Micah Mercer-Carmel

The Delaware Commit, is one prospect I wish I had the opportunity to see this season. The Carmel DL, stands at 6'4" 265-Pounds, and has been a reliable force for this Carmel Defense. He has a high motor, and a quick first step. A Hybrid player, who can move to the EDGE, or rush from the Tackle position. He has a quick first step, and attacks the line with violence. In the backfield, he is a physical athlete, and has solid speed for a Lineman. He is a good tackler, and showcases a good blend of moves and strength to make plays on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1345061' first='Elias' last='Murray']-Archbishop Stepinac

The third DL prospect I would offer is [player_tooltip player_id='1345061' first='Elias' last='Murray']. Murray plays more of a Nose Tackle position, and would be a strong addition to the middle of my defensive line. We saw him play against Chaminade. Murray had a big impact in that game, and was part of a Stepinac defense that spent most their evening in the backfield. Off the line, he is quick. He displays a great use of hands, which is used to reach the backfield quickly. He has a high motor, and attacks the backfield with a purpose. I like his tool bag, and use of hands while lining up against Guards or Centers.

First at the EDGE, we have "Gator" The Stepinac EDGE rusher, has been a valuable asset to the Crusaders defense this season. The Senior, is yet to receive an offer, but has interests from a few schools. He is my number one EDGE rusher in the state, and for good reason. Off the line, has a good vision, and can read RPO/Option plays. I like his pursuit, and ability to chase down defenders. He can close gaps with ease, and has no trouble shedding blocks with his strength. He displays a good tackle form, and is a player I would fear coming off the EDGE.

[player_tooltip player_id='575516' first='Omar' last='Mendez Jr']-Tottenville

Mendez Jr, is a prospect who can play multiple positions in my defense, and will give me versatility with schemes and coverages. The Staten Island prospect, hold two offers from Western New England, and Clarke University. Mendez Jr, can drop into coverage as a LB, and play on the line as an EDGE, which is a key factor to his addition to this team. He displays excellent pursuit, and good tackling. I like his vision, and footwork, as he stuffs out plays, and charges in with a high motor. On the line, he has good speed, and a good use of hands that allow him to reach the backfield. He is a solid prospect, that can play multiple roles on my squad.
