Tyler is committed to play college football at Elon College, and at 6'1 and 190 pounds, I expect he has a chance to get on the field sooner rather than later. He's physically ready and excels in press coverage against wide receivers as a cornerback.

Mac has been one of my favorite defensive backs for a while. He can excel in both man and zone coverage, and his ability to break on the ball while it is in the air is impressive. Mac has good speed and can stay with receivers in coverage, but his football intelligence is one of his major strengths. He is always in the right place and at the right time defensively.

Elijah is a fast and athletic safety who can excel in both run support and pass coverage well. In run support, I like the way Elijah gets to the football so fast and with bad intentions. Elijah also does a good job of tackling in space, showing the ability to get ball carriers on the ground in solo tackle situations. Elijah has some college interest, and I think he has a future playing college football for sure.

Jaziyah has had a great year on both sides of the ball after breaking out and having a good season last season as a defensive back as a junior. Jaziyah is the Trojans' leading receiver this year, while also having 3 interceptions so far on defense. Jaziyah's height/speed combination is impressive, while he has some strong hands on offense, which translate to good ball skills on defense. Because of those traits, Jaziyah definitely has a future playing college football somewhere in my opinion.

Brennen does a little bit of everything for a Christ the King team, finding some success under first-year head coach Charlie Jackson. Brennen is nearing some impressive stat milestones for this season - he is on track to be over 1,000 all-purpose yards, nearing double-digit touchdowns, and should finish with over 70 tackles. Brennen is always around the football on defense and has a way of making game-changing plays, which put his team ina position to consistently play winning football.

Miles is one of the best players you don't really know about. With his size/speed at 6'3 and 190 pounds, he generates college football interest just off of his physical traits. Then you turn on the tape, and he hits like a linebacker, but shows coverage skills as a seasoned defensive back. Miles has some colleges after him on the recruiting trail, and I feel like once he's seen in this setting, more recruiting attention will be coming his way.

Committed to Charlotte, Josh is probably one of the most heralded players in this game from a talent/recruiting perspective, as he had any number of schools that he could have played college football at on the next level. Josh shows excellent speed and reactive ability from his defensive back position, and excels in both man and zone coverage. He has helped the Mustangs bounce back this season to become a title contender in the 8A playoff conversation.

Callaway's strong senior season is a big reason why the Sabres have had a strong year so far as a team. Callaway leads the team in touchdown receptions so far, and he shows disciplined route running and strong hands when catching the ball out of the air. Callaway also shows some nice range as a safety in the defensive backfield, and has the speed and vertical ability to challenge deep passes thrown at him downfield.

Jason is a player that flies under the radar amongst his talented teammates, but you would never guess he was 3rd on the team in tackles this season from his safety position. When I saw game film of Hough, I just kept seeing Jason around the ball and making plays. He has very good speed and diagnoses where the ball is going quickly, at times being the first defender there to make the initial play. Jason can also make plays in coverage, and I've seen him play high-leverage snaps in big games and make important plays. I'm excited to see him in this setting.

Marcus is another one of my favorite players from the last couple of years. He's got a very tough mentality, and he isn't going to back down from any kind of challenge. His team even asked him to step in and play some linebacker this season, and he went out and did it, even though he's known for being a high-level coverage cornerback. That's the kind of kid Marcus is. He's committed to play college football at Concord University, and I couldn't be happier for him.

Looking at the film on Keenan, he just popped from the start. He does a good job in both man and zone coverage concepts from his corner position, and he moves with a natural flow; everything is smooth from a technique standpoint. With his length at 6'2, he is the perfect height at the corner spot that college coaches look for. He has good speed and can high-point and defend the jump ball in one-on-one situations. Keenan is also not scared to come up and hit in run support as well.

Soto has progressed well through his career at Providence and has taken coaching well to become a safety that can run fit well into the box and help stop the running game. He's been an athletic prospect as well, who shows the speed to cover the field in both man and zone coverage principles. His physical play helps set the tone for a Panthers team currently leading their conference and on track to secure a playoff berth.
