Tention has gotten the job done both as a runner and pass-catcher in his first two games of the season. He has carried the football 38 times for 217 yards and seven touchdowns and has caught eight passes for 117 yards and one touchdown. There is one highlight on his current HUDL 4-game video that showcases his shiftiness, quick feet, and vision all in a 20-plus yard run for a touchdown. Tention is more quick than fast, and that's not a knock his speed at all. He's tough in-between the tackles despite his size and it's his quickness through the hole that gets him untouched at time once he reaches the second level. If Tention doesn't get an opportunity to be a running back at the next level, I can see him possibly switching to the slot receiver position.

In his first three games of the season, Shoffner has carried the football 57 times for 314 yards and four touchdowns. He's also caught 4 passes for 72 yards and one touchdown. Shoffner looks real smooth running the football and is always looking to get downhill. Don't sleep, he has some elusiveness in his game along with vision and patience. I like his ability to recognize cutback opportunities. Shoffner is showing that he's a dependable option in the redzone as well and has a nose for the end zone.

In his first three games, Glass has completed 26-of-58 passes for 497 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions. As I'm watching highlights from the game agains Roosevelt, Glass's ability to lead receivers with his throws downfield is impressive. He allows the receiver to catch the pass in stride due to his accuracy, which results in big plays and in a few cases that game, touchdowns. Overall, he gets the ball out quickly to his hot reads and keeps the chains moving. Solid mechanics and footwork in the pocket.

Martin is off to another solid start, rushing for 254 yards and four touchdowns on 33 carries. The last two games have been blowouts for St. Albans or he would probably be well over 300-plus yards rushing after three games. I can't verify how much he weighs, but he certainly plays bigger than his listed size. Once he commits to a lane, he explodes through it. Expect to see Martin get those 15-plus yard chunk plays in the ground game throughout the season. Martin already has a few breakaway plays on his highlights on his early highlight reel.

Bell is on his way to finishing off his high school football carrier in a strong manner. In his first two games of the season, Bell has completed 23-of-30 passes for 634 yards, eight touchdowns, and one interception. He's also carried the football 16 times for 139 yards (8.1 yards per carry) and two touchdowns. Bell is showing that he's elusive in and out of the pocket. He's a pass-first quarterback, but he's dangerous as a runner too. Bell is a poised veteran who looks very confident running his offense. He deserves a closer look from colleges that value on-field production and are not too caught up on his height. There's a school on some level that would benefit from having Bell as their quarterback.
