Power Scores: X Factors, Carrollton Trojans

Carrollton is a consistent giant in NWGA, and this fall is no different. According to every possible metric and ranking, they are again one of the best 6A teams in Georgia. Our new Power Scores model agrees.    [player_tooltip player_id='404832' first='CJ' last='Cypher'] has emerged as a prolific and efficient signal caller for Carrollton. He is already considered one of the premier 2029 QBs in the country, and when all is said and done, he will have an argument for QB1 here in the 2029 GA rankings. Here is my note on Cypher from earlier this season:   "8/20/25: Stout, well-developed QB prospect. Explosive athlete with snappy hips. Real easy arm talent. Can touch each level of the field both within and outside the pocket. Quick, concise delivery. Gets the ball out in a hurry. Already firmly on the P4 recruiting radar."     [player_tooltip player_id='283806' first='Cameron' last='Wood'] is a really fun senior breakout player who is making the most of his touches this fall. Standing alone from football, the athlete is impressive, coming in at a rock-solid 5'9 200 and PR'ing at an impressive 10.7 in the 100M. His combination of elite foot quickness and speed helps him shift across the field and break away from the defense when he has an opening. He isn't a bruiser, but he is sturdy, absorbing contact well for more of a finesse back. If I were a small school in the southeast, I wouldn't let him leave the region. He offers those programs rare access to that level of speed.     Mosley, committed to UGA, is a well-covered prospect for us here at Prep Redzone. Our Scouts have looked him over several times. Here is what fellow scout Austin Butler has had to say about him in the past:   "Mosley is one of the most recent Georgia commits. His incredible talent has been on display and his skillset to be able to get open is second to none along with his spectacular catching ability. Mosley is a complete player who will bring a lot to UGA along with the development he will receive in Athens. Expect Mosley to have a huge year for the Carrollton Trojans as they look to make a big run in 6A."     [player_tooltip player_id='418493' first='Peyton' last='Zachary'] has produced at a high level from literally day 1 at high school. He has not slowed down, and is off to a hot start to his senior season. Zachary is a three-phase playmaker with elite explosiveness who can really impact the game after the catch. He is currently committed to UNLV, where his playmaking skills and explosiveness should translate well. He is lining up on both sides of the ball for Carrollton, as well.     Boyd is a breakout sophomore for Carrollton and already an early standout in the 2028 class at the position. He is making plays as a tackler, but also making plays on the football and generating takeaways. As he grows and develops, he will only draw more eyes and attention. What really sticks out at this phase is his ability and willingness to lower his shoulder and embrace contact. He holds P4 offers.     Gamble, committed to Georgia Tech, is a high upside LB prospect with plenty of athletic evidence. Gamble is active, fluid, and chases the football. As he adds more play strength and improves on his pad level, two things that are getting better, it's reasonable to assume that with his blend of size and athleticism, he should have no problem finding the field and contributing at the ACC level.     [player_tooltip player_id='401526' first='Kadan' last='Spratling'] is one of my favorite underrated LB prospects in Georgia. I will let some of my analysis from last year do the talking here:   "[player_tooltip player_id='401526' first='Kadan' last='Spratling']<a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/kadan-spratling/"></a> is a buzzy LB prospect in the 2026 class and is also a T/F state champion from this past season. He participates as a sprinter and a jumper, but it's his state-leading 169′ 06” discus throw that draws my attention the most. His T/F numbers exhibit indications of power and explosiveness, which is evident on tape. He roams the field, but plays a lot of OLB, where he can strike and shock blockers with his punch. As a tackler, he can ragdoll ball carriers around and often lifts them off their feet. He showcases enough bend and closing speed to stick at OLB if he chooses, even for a stouter guy. To go along with his power and explosiveness, he makes plays at all levels of the field and looks like a solid player from the head up. At this stage, he is a shockingly underrated recruit and has a chance to generate some FBS buzz as a late-bloomer."     [player_tooltip player_id='423414' first='Kweli' last='Fielder'] is an absolute difference maker up front for Carrollton and is currently ranked by us at PRZ as the top 2028 OL prospect in Georgia. From a traits standpoint, Fielder is an easy evaluation with good size and elite play strength. He ties everything together with violence and a mean streak, which is what will help him translate his traits across a few different levels of football. Fielder is a high-floor, high-ceiling prospect and a certified blue-chipper throughout the process.     Ball, a Samford commit, is an unsung hero on this Carrollton squad and one of the anchors up front for the Trojans. He is listed at 6'4 295, more than impressive and adequate size and length for the level of ball he is headed to. Ball has good play strength and the motor to finish blocks through the dirt. I wouldn't consider him the most elite mover, but his feet are active, and he is athletic enough to climb and occupy second-level defenders.
