I highlighted Aliou this offseason and am still a big fan of him halfway through his senior season. He is a versatile player who plays on both sides of the ball, but likely projects long-term as either a receiver or a safety. He is dangerous with the ball in his hands. He isn't a burner, but he is a smooth athlete who can sink his weight and explode, which also helps him separate in his routes. Aliou is a hot pursuer of the football, has good tackling technique, and uses his length to engulf ball carriers. Aliou is underrated and is a clear college caliber prospect.

Through the first half of the season, Wilkinson looks like the biggest breakout candidate in Georgia at the QB position. From a measurable standpoint, Wilkinson is adequate and checks the requisite boxes. He has a quick release, the ball jumps out of his hand, and he does a fantastic job of adding touch on the ball and getting it to turn over. When the play breaks down, he does a good job of stepping up to evade and keep the play alive. I am confident enough to say that Wilkinson has D1 traits as a passer.

McDonald is an extremely intriguing traits prospect who has a few FBS offers under his belt. This offseason, it was clear McDonald was a clear traits eval. Tall, long, and fast. He is playing mostly off the ball, but with his frame, he likely projects more as an edge defender. His speed is impressive, but it looks like he has grown into himself more and has more horizontal agility. There is plenty of upside here, and I wouldn't be shocked to see his recruitment take a step forward as more tape gets out there.

Tillman is a new name to me and is intriguing enough as a prospect to grasp my attention even more. He comes in at 5'10 190 with a low center of gravity. He ran 10.84 in the 100M, which adds more context to his speed and explosiveness. He is a no nonsense runner who hits openings hard and doesn't deviate off that path. I wouldn't consider him a bruiser, but his low center of gravity helps him recover from contact and power through wrists. It's a breakout year for Tillman, who sounds D1 athletic alarms.

[player_tooltip player_id='950971' first='Mason' last='Freeman'] sets the bar for the 2028 WR class in Georgia, and he is off to a hot start to his sophomore season. Freeman's SO tape feeds off his FR tape. He is soft on his feet, changes direction effortlessly, and is a smooth mover. The biggest difference I can see on tape is his frame. He isn't a big receiver, but he has definitely filled out some and is playing bigger than he was as a FR. He will only improve as he continues to grow and find his stride. Expect to hear Freeman's name consistently over the next three years.

While it's early, Tillman's early tape and traits should make him a candidate to be one of the best pass rushers in Georgia in the 2029 class. He is well developed at 6'2 210, and has already clocked 11.6 in the 100M. He is really good at the critical points of his rush, winning with different moves and possessing the bend to catch the arc and chase. Tillman has P4 potential, and it's a matter of time before those schools tap in.
