South County vs West Springfield

A long standing heated rivalry resumes between these two schools tonight, West Springfield took the last game in blowout fashion during last year's Regional Playoffs. The Spartans are coming off a nice victory over Robinson last week while South County gave traditional power Highland Springs everything they could handle. Neither school can really afford a third loss on the year this early so expect both teams to pull out all the tricks. New signal caller for the Stallions is junior Dylan Miller who is off to an impressive start he threw for over 300 yards last week against the Springers. [player_tooltip player_id='1297724' first='Trevion' last='Campbell'] is putting up techmo bowl like numbers at receiver for South County, he will be priority number for the Spartans defense. [player_tooltip player_id='1298213' first='Scott' last='Lewis'] had a nice outing last week to get West Springfield back to .500 at 2-2. Lewis will need to build on that outing as the visiting Stallions squad still remembers what he did to them in 2024.

Battlefield vs Independence

Despite the loss of Richmond Commit [player_tooltip player_id='853820' first='Calum' last='O'Shea'] the Bobcats have remained perfect and are starting to round into shape on offense. [player_tooltip player_id='1683335' first='Ethan' last='Stowell'] was really good in their win over Gar Field last week and he will need to be accurate tonight against a hungry Independence squad. The Tigers are 2-1 and have looked like they want to have a seat at the table regarding the Cedar Run District title. Long time starting quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='486916' first='Nick' last='Nassib'] has been excellent through three games and this will be his toughest test to date. Battlefield defensively has not missed a beat and all-world linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1535249' first='Noah' last='Glover'] is back in the lineup. Coach Hatfield's team does not want their 47 game regular season streak coming to an end anytime soon.

North Stafford vs Colonial Forge

The biggest game in the state happens to fall in the same region with two of the top teams in Class 6. North Stafford is coming off an instant classic in their win over Woodbridge while Colonial Forge has not had much trouble with any opponent thus far. The Eagles will welcome a Wolverines squad that has [player_tooltip player_id='1311634' first='Kenaz' last='Sullivan'], [player_tooltip player_id='1310494' first='Chase' last='Sullivan'], [player_tooltip player_id='853780' first='Ontario' last='Washington'], [player_tooltip player_id='1905640' first='Antonio' last='Hubbard'] and Rickey Adkins all playing at first team all state levels. Colonial Forge are one of the few remaining unbeatens in Virginia and they have quite frankly looked like the top team in the state. Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='853812' first='Brock' last='Brimhall'] and running back [player_tooltip player_id='1297628' first='Torie' last='Martin'] are a few of their many playmakers on offense. Defensively Monm
