I have been high on Independence High School stud quarterback Nick Nassib Nick Nassib Nick Nassib 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Independence | 2026 State VA since I began working for Prep redzone over two years ago. He is coming off a darn good junior season that lead him to All-Conference honors. Nassib is setting records left and right for the Tigers, last I checked he has broken 5 school records already. When he informed me he was attending I was admittedly excited as I have yet to see him throw in person. My bet is he will be on point all day just like he has been for the Tigers the past two years.

Independence star quarterback Nick Nassib Nick Nassib Nick Nassib 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Independence | 2026 State VA hasn’t missed a beat in his junior season. Throwing for 6 touchdowns thru five games Nassib numbers will explode as we approach the second half of the season. The young man has a cannon and is very accurate throwing on the run, he should start getting on colleges radars after he completes his junior campaign. For my money he is as good as it gets amongst the top quarterbacks in his class.

Throwing a very accurate deep ball, the Tigers have a potential FBS star on their hands. Really like the way he throws on the run too, do not be surprised to see his touchdown passes double this year.

Profiled this gun slinger a couple months back so when his name came up as one of our top ranked qbs I had to talk about him. Nassib more than exceeded expectations last season for Independence High School and is sure to only get better for his sophomore campaign. Nassib received all district second team honors in 2022 and throws the deep ball to near perfection. Standing at just over 6’0 this kid can has great poise in the pocket and excels throwing on the run with the bootleg. His name and his game will only get better as he enters the 10th grade, the way he works on his craft do not be surprised if all state honors are on his way this fall.

Playing as a freshman for your varsity squad is impressive enough, what Nassib pulled off last year is beyond that. Watch the way he moves and throws the football, you will see why he played for the state champions at a young age. He moves in the pocket like a veteran and can make any throw downfield. The second team all district selection will inevitably start attracting major institutions eyes soon. I expect him to not only be ranked in the top 100 for Virginia but nationally as well, yes he is that good!
