for quite some time so I was more than ecstatic to see him pick up an offer from Emory & Henry earlier today. He is a shutdown corner who will have his hands full going against the Woodbridge receiving core this week. Washington doesn’t back down and he had the game clinching interception in the Wolverines win over Battlefield last week. Expect him and his teammates to be ready for another rematch!

was one of many motivated Wolverines Friday night, he had a heck of a evening. Three highlight reel worthy touchdowns including a kickoff return that will open your eyes. Quite the night for Washington he also had 5 tackles on defense.

is back. He too picked up an offer from CNU last week and he should get more before week 1 kicks off next week. Another track & field star the Wolverines corner has a 4.4 GPA!

on this list because of a tip from someone who did watch the program extensively on both days of our tourney. That being the PRZ Virginia lead Carl Frederick. Frederick raved about Washington’s presence at safety, apparently showing off some serious range in a setting that usually exploits DBs to a degree. Washington’s performance might deem him worthy of a higher placement on this list, yet since I didn’t get to watch him closely, we’ll settle for the 40 spot. I have a feeling he deserves higher, though.

Ontarrio Washington should not be ignored anymore, he was lockdown from his safety spot and had several outstanding reps defensively. Washington is also a rising senior for North Stafford who clearly has a chip on his shoulder like the rest of his Wolverine teammates. He had 4 interceptions last season and was one of the better defensive backs I watched all weekend. A couple of the reps he posted below will prove that.

Solid height and frame. Good athletic ability displaying good speed, hip fluidity, foot quickness, change of direction, lateral movement, acceleration, solid explosiveness, and balance. Shows good backpedal and ability to match WR routes at the snap with good reaction to the route using his good change of direction to keep tight coverage on the receiver with a quick hip turn. Good ball skills, with good reaction to the ball by reading the receiver’s hands in man and good zone processing to make a break on the ball. Good tackler, showing good physical toughness to make a big hit on receivers after they touch the ball. Also plays a mix of RB and WR on offense, showing good route running using his speed and elusiveness to create separation. Good as a ball carrier, and able to outrun most defenders on the field. Overall, a solid prospect who I like best at DB due to his athleticism, processing, and ball skills to excel at the position.
