The first three weeks of the season have passed, and we'll be highlighting prospects who have produced highlight tapes for their first few games. Colleges will evaluate prospect film from the first three games of the season to assess their progress from last year and the off-season, as they update their recruiting boards. Here are some OL prospects to check out from the first three weeks of the season with film!

A 2026 OL prospect currently on our Watch List who colleges should check out this season is Sissonville's [player_tooltip player_id='1138544' first='Nick' last='Slate']. He's a team leader for the Indians as they work to turn their program around, and is setting the tone for his fellow linemen teammates. Slate is tailor-made for the running game and will consistently get push at the LOS. He has strong hands and does a nice job of driving his man until the whistle. Slate would be a great addition to a D3 program, with the potential of earning some D2 looks this fall.

After seeing him compete at receiver at a camp this summer, 2026 Hampshire ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1683614' first='Blake' last='Klavuhn'] has put the team first and moved over to center for his senior year. The untraditional move gives the Trojans a strong, athletic player in the middle of their offense, where Klavuhn has done a nice job, even with giving up quite a bit of size to some interior defensive linemen. We said during the summer that he'd make a good DE/EDGE prospect at the next level with the athletic traits that he flashed at the camp, and his experience along the OL will be a boost in that regard if that's where Klavuhn eventually ends up in college.

A week after earning a spot on our Great Wall of WV in week two, 2027 Princeton OL [player_tooltip player_id='864598' first='Landyn' last='Moore'] has produced his first three games tape and continues to show why we believe he's the top OL and overall prospect in his class. Moore is playing the best ball of his career, which is to be expected from the now upperclassman. He's elevated his tenacity as a blocker and has developed a mean streak on the field to finish blocks more often. Moore's ability to play in space and get to the second level also proves that he has the athleticism to play at the P4 level in our eyes, where he should begin to see offers soon.

2027 Parkersburg OL Frey Grinter has consistently developed since first finding him on the Big Reds' freshman team two years ago, where he flashed high-level potential. He's now in his second year starting and has emerged as the Big Reds' top lineman in our eyes. Grinter has played both center and tackle this season and is capable of playing any spot on the line. Guard or center is where we see his future at the next level as a prospect with a high D2 floor and D1 potential if he continues to develop.

Cabell Midland's [player_tooltip player_id='1589349' first='Aiden' last='Estep'] is ranked as a defensive lineman, but has emerged on the Knights' offensive line this season. That may inevitably end up being his best position as a prospect, but he's performed well at camps at DL, too. It's a natural position for Estep now that he's grown into his body more as he's gotten older and has done some good things at left tackle this season through three games.

A young offensive lineman who is doing a great job in his first year starting at the varsity level is 2028 Shady Spring OL [player_tooltip player_id='1538716' first='Peyton' last='Wade']. He made our week one Great Wall of WV and has done well in all three games to start the year. Wade is clearly bigger and stronger from his freshman year, which is to be expected, and he's playing confidently for the Tigers as a sophomore. We've gotten to watch him progress closely over the past year at various camps, and Wade is someone who colleges will want to keep close tabs on if he continues to take steps forward over the next two and a half years.

2028 Woodrow Wilson OL [player_tooltip player_id='1639981' first='Ben' last='Fitzwater'] has stepped into a starting role for the Flying Eagles as a sophomore and will be a young prospect to follow for the next two and a half years. He's settled in at left tackle in a Wing-T system, where he'll quickly learn the toughness and physicality of the position. If Fitzwater can keep making strides athletically and growing into his 6'3 frame, he'll have a high ceiling as a player and prospect coming from an athletic family.
