2027 Parkersburg OL Drey Grinter Drey Grinter 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Parkersburg | 2027 State WV had an All-State junior season for the Big Reds and is considered a Top 30 prospect in the class. We’ve been excited about his potential since evaluating his freshman team film two years ago, and Grinter has steadily developed since then to become one of the top offensive linemen in 2027. He’s a big, physical mauler at guard who has D1 upside in our eyes and should see college recognition soon.

2027 Parkersburg OL Frey Grinter has consistently developed since first finding him on the Big Reds’ freshman team two years ago, where he flashed high-level potential. He’s now in his second year starting and has emerged as the Big Reds’ top lineman in our eyes. Grinter has played both center and tackle this season and is capable of playing any spot on the line. Guard or center is where we see his future at the next level as a prospect with a high D2 floor and D1 potential if he continues to develop.

One of the top big men in the 2027 class is Parkersburg offensive lineman Drey Grinter Drey Grinter 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Parkersburg | 2027 State WV . He’s still not talked about enough among the top linemen in a talented 2027 class in our eyes. Grinter did what we expected him to as a sophomore and secured a starting varsity spot after showing a ton of upside in his freshman film. He has the size and ability to garner college attention soon after this season.

Parkersburg 2027 offensive lineman Drey Grinter Drey Grinter 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Parkersburg | 2027 State WV had an impressive JV highlight tape from his freshman year and caught our attention as another high-ceiling big man in this class. Grinter looks primed to earn a varsity starting spot as a sophomore as the Big Reds lost a lot of talent from their 2023 team to graduation. His first clip on his freshman film shows you what kind of player Grinter is as a highly physical athlete who plays with an edge. We loved seeing the nastiness he played with as a young lineman and did a great job finishing his blocks until the whistle. Grinter has apparent early physical strength and strong hands that pushed defenders around easily at the JV level.
We’ll need to see it translate to the varsity level too, but Grinter has clearly shown the potential at the younger level to develop into another talented lineman in the 2027 class with a high ceiling.

An offensive lineman who impressed me on the Parkersburg Big Reds’ younger team was Drey Grinter Drey Grinter 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Parkersburg | 2027 State WV . The 6’1 270 big man plays with a level of physicality and nastiness that I loved seeing from a young lineman. Grinter played both guard and tackle this season and it will depend on how much longer he gets to decide which spot he translates better to at the next level. He showed quality athleticism and feet as a freshman showing he can play tackle if he gets a bit longer. I love the way he plays the offensive line position at an early age and has the mindset and tools to develop into one of the top OL in the 2027 class in time. Grinter is a bully on the field and a powerful young lineman who could do just about anything he wanted to do on the freshmen/JV team. I think he has a very good chance of being a varsity starter as a sophomore and has a great future at the position.
