2027 Parkersburg QB Tyler Cameron Tyler Cameron 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Parkersburg | 2027 WV has patiently waited for his turn to take over the reins as the Big Reds’ quarterback, and he’ll finally have his opportunity this season. Cameron is capable of becoming a talented quarterback on Friday nights, as he’s performed well during 7-on-7s this offseason. This is a big year for him to show what he’s capable of, with some big tests on the Big Reds’ schedule to prove that he’s worthy of being talked about among the top quarterbacks in the 2027 class.

Parkersburg’s Tyler Cameron Tyler Cameron 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Parkersburg | 2027 WV has patiently waited his turn to be the Big Reds’ QB1, and he’ll have the opportunity to take over the reins as a junior this upcoming season. He was a standout at our Steel City Collision 7on7 event earlier this year, so he’s no stranger to success at PRZ events. Cameron is polished for a quarterback without any true varsity experience, which should allow him to step in as a junior with immediate success during his first potential year behind center at the varsity level. He’s a touch passer who’s accurate at the short and intermediate levels of the passing game. There are still levels that Cameron can reach in his game with more experience and development pending.

Cameron, another quarterback who split time, did a great job when targeting the sidelines. He threw some nice level one balls on a line to guys on the outside. I did not get to see a ton of reps live, but I was able to look back at some clips to fill in the gaps. Strong performance from Cameron.

will throw his hat into the ring for the spot. The 5’9 150 freshman commanded the Big Reds’ freshmen team this season and flashed some things on film that make you feel good about his future outlook. Cameron operates in the pocket like an experienced quarterback showing a calm presence. He does a nice job using his legs and athleticism to move around inside the pocket and can climb the pocket or escape it to make a play. Downfield throws are a work in progress but Cameron is a fluid passer on rollouts and bootlegs. Whoever steps in for the graduating
