Out of Clayton comes linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1538195' first='Nico' last='Thongchanh']. Aside from having one of the more unique names in the state, from his mike position he is awfully quick to the sideline - whether it be run or pass. Through the trenches we see him Thongchanh split cracks, flossing between them to make plays in the backfield. With urgency, we see him get to his drops and clog passing lanes with equal proficiency. Lastly, Thongchanh is as close to a textbook tackler as there might be. Always seeming to keep his head out of the play and to the side, Thongchanh hits, wraps, and drives with authority. As a typical thumper might be b-gap-to-b-gap, Thongchanh takes that style of play and extends to to the c-gap on either side.

There is something about runners with balance that make them near-elite. For [player_tooltip player_id='1552713' first='Nymir' last='Daily'], he does a great job of keeping his feet moving throughout all parts of his run. In turn, he seems to absorb hits and stay upright. With his vision, Daily can course correct and reverse field with ease. The ball and his hands just seem like natural fits and like they are meant to be. On tape it seems as though he has a strong body and his difficult to bring down. Moreover, in the open field Daily sets up his blockers in order to break big plays. Lastly, I would say that Daily has a sort of has a physical style of running I would say.

The more and more I cover Atlantic City football, the more and more I realize they are an emerging hotbed of talent at the skill positions. Add defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1552382' first='Omar' last='Kelly'] to that ever-growing list. As a rolled down safety he has an aggressive nature where his first step seems to be forward. That aggression translates to him looking to pick off crossers, laying the hit stick whenever he can. The clearest showing of Kelly's speed is on punt block, where we see a distinct burst off the edge. I like how Kelly sees and flies without hesitation, using his speed and body to be the "unstoppable force" in the equation. This force allows him to hawk defenders who get over the top and fill the alley - always with appropriate run fits - with purpose.

[player_tooltip player_id='1688969' first='Oscar' last='Irwin'], probably out of necessity, also plays running back for Pingry. As a result, much of his game tape features his highlights as a ball carrier. That said, my trained eye leads me to believe that Irwin is likely a college defensive back. At Corner, Irwin does a great job of catching the ball with his hands. He also trusts what he sees, knowing that seeing is believing. This allows him to play fast and fly to the ball. Each play you see of him defending, Irwin is either playing the ball. or his matchup's hands, depending the appropriateness of each scenario. Despite his size, he has shown a level of physicality, especially when using his hands to shed blocks. Lastly, I was impressed with Irwin's strong presence as a tackler.

A prospect that I have been screaming his name for those all the way in the back since I first peeped his game, [player_tooltip player_id='1305209' first='Qua'Yon' last='Williams'] is a gifted 3-way player that can break a game open in any phase. As a returner, he is determined and sets his blockers up before accelerating through the seams. When he does accelerate, it is clear as day that he has a different gear. This gear is truly special, as it allows him to crop dust defenders who appear to have an angle on him. Williams also has quick feet that allow him to gain clean, unimpeded releases at the line of scrimmage. Ball skills are also a part of his game, where we see Williams adjust and contort his body to the ball when hre must. As a corner, he is instinctual and jumps routes in flooded zones to his side. Like any natural athlete, he catches the ball with his hands and can out jump just about anyone; he also moves laterally extremely well. A bought-in perimeter player, Williams puts forth an honest and determined effort to block for his teammates.

There is a legacy of outstanding, FBS-caliber receivers afoot in Millville, and [player_tooltip player_id='1476891' first='Reggie' last='Holley'] looks to add his name atop the mantle. Holley demonstrates a clean and immediate burst off the line in his release. Beyond that, we see a clear shiftiness and explosive nature to his movements. Like a snake sizing up hits prey, Holley waits and baits before quickly striking like lightning, often picking his spots when to exactly turn on the jets. A scrapper, he wil fight for extra yardage with a sort of "junk dawg" mentality. For 90-degree breaking routes, Holley's cuts are straight and sharp like a razor's edge. Using his hands to catch the ball, he wants it and he wants it now as he will do his best to plow someone over. Holley also extends his arms to make catches on less-than-idea balls and does a great job of making grabs through contact.
