After a breakout season last yea, Fox enters Week 1 ready to build on his success. With an upgraded offensive line paving the way, Fox should find ample space to reach the second level and exploit openings. His versatility makes him dangerous both on the ground and through the air, as evidenced by his 10 yards per reception last season. Near the goal line, he becomes a key player the defense should focus on as he uses his vision and quickness to find creases and punch the ball in. Against a tough Regis Jesuit defense, Fox's ability to convert short yardage situations into touchdowns could be the difference between a strong start and an early setback for the Bruins.

Lovett brings a dynamic vertical element to the Bruins offense. His speed allows him to stretch the field and put pressure on secondaries, while his height and leaping ability make him a natural redzone target. Lovett excels at climbing the ladder to high point the football, winning contested catches and securing big gains in crucial moments. His physicality also shows up in the run game, where he's an effective perimeter blocker. Against Regis Jesuit, Lovett could benefit from defensive attention on the ground game, creating opportunities for him to make explosive plays. Expect him to be a major factor if Cherry Creek looks to open up their passing attack early.

McKenzie enters 2025 as one of the Bruins emerging weapons after an offseason that put him on the recruiting radar with multiple Division I offers. Despite limited reps last season, McKenzie's size, athleticism and playmaking ability give him the potential to exploit mismatches. In a deep receiving room, he could find himself drawing favorable coverage as defenses focus on Cherry Creek's established stars. McKenzie's knack for creating separation and turning intermediate routes into long gains makes him a dangerous secondary option. Week 1 presents the perfect chance for him to announce his arrival on the state's biggest stage and prove he belongs among Colorado's elite young receivers.

Vodicka commands one of the most talented offenses in the state and his ability to distribute the football will be pivotal in Week 1. Known for his quick decision making and mastery of the Bruins system, Vodicka can identify mismatches pre-snap and deliver accurate throws to his deep pool of playmakers. Week 1's matchup against a skilled Regis Jesuit secondary will test his ability to remain patient while still attacking opportunities downfield. Vodicka's leadership and poise will be critical in keeping the offense efficient and balanced. If he finds an early rhythm, Cherry Creek could quickly establish control and showcase why they are among the top programs in the country.

As a freshman, Cromwell made an immediate impact for Cherry Creek, and his role could be set to expand in his sophomore campaign. Cromwell's combination of size, speed and power allows him to hit the hole with authority and burst into the open field. Once he gets to the outside, he has the agility to make defenders miss and the strength to finish runs through contact. In short yardage situations, he's a reliable option to move the chains or find the end zone. A full offseason in the weight room has only improved his explosiveness. He may start as a change of pace back in Week 1 but Cromwell's big play potential makes him a player defenses cannot overlook.

Landrum-Hamilton is a versatile receiving threat capable of lining up both inside and outside, creating mismatches across the field. His precise route running and acceleration make him difficult to cover in man to man situations, while his ability to separate quickly helps keep the offense on schedule. When he is lined up in the slot, Landrum-Hamilton can exploit coverage gaps and turn short receptions into long gains. Against Regis Jesuit, his ability to make an early impact could set the tone for the Bruins passing attack. If he catches fire, expect him to become an X-factor not just in this game, but in shaping the offense's success all season long.

With a crowded backfield headlined by the Bruins returning leading rusher who committed to UConn, Lumbus enters the season competing for touches but he has the skill set to make every carry count. Lumbus shows excellent vision, finding holes quickly and accelerating into the open field with burst. Behind one of the best offensive lines in the state, he has the tools to turn limited opportunities into significant yardage. If the game opens up or the Bruins rotate backs frequently, Lumbus could see increased action and provide fresh legs against a tiring defense. His Week 1 performance could hint at a larger role as the season unfolds.
