Chapala first come onto my radar from the 3A Championship game, and continued to impress me at our PRZ combine event. Last season, he had 96 carries for 677 yards and 9 touchdowns. He averaged 7.1 yards per carry which is amazing. Chapala has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, good balance, and speed. Chapala is very shifty and shows off his very good vision to find paths. When a gap is covered, he uses his dynamic cuts to slide into the open one effortlessly. Chapala is a weaver and will use his athletic ability to run around the defenders, but he isn't afraid of getting physical and trucking through them. He is a phenomenal receiver out of the backfield. Very good ball tracking skills. Very good catching and strong hands to hold onto the ball. He has great ball skills, and I can see him getting more action at the wide receiver position this fall.

Mavromat continues to impress me over the off season. He had a great summer with strong performances at different camps. He can switch between LB and SS. Measuring in at 5'9 176 pounds, last season he had 33 total tackles (25 solo, 8 assisted), 2 QB hurries, and 1 pass deflection. Mavromat has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, lateral agility, good jumping, and speed. Very good mental processing due to his react and reaction time. He is a good block shedder and a stout run stopper. He has very good tackling, and doesn't allow the RB any extra yards. In coverage, he succeeds. Mavromat is sticky in man coverage, and as the athletic ability to cover tight ends out in space. Keep an eye on this rising star.

Pettinger is a quality edge rusher. The 6'0 165 pound rusher had 74 total tackles (51 solo, 23 assisted), 4 TFL, 7 sacks, and 3 QB pressures. He has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, lateral agility, speed, and change of direction. Good initial quickness out of his stance engaging with the defender first. Low pad level and good knee bend. Very good bend around the edge. Good hand placement and very good hand strength to swat away OL's arms. Good block shedder and good get off speed. Very good spin move, and a powerful bull rush to knock the OL around. This kid plays with tenacity and fire as well. Very good competitive toughness. Very good tackling, as he stops the ball carrier in their tracks. I'm looking forward to Pettinger having another solid season under his belt.

Tisdall has been on my radar since one of our Prep Redzone camps. The 6'4 240 pound edge rusher has prototypical size. In limited game action last season, he had 15 total tackles (9 solo, 6 assisted), 5 TFL, and 3 QB pressures. I believe with a full season, he will do wonders. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, change of direction, lateral agility, and good speed. Very good initial quickness out of his stance, engaging in a low pad level. He has good very good hand strength and good hand placement to swat away OL's arms or control them with ease. Tisdall maintains a very good bend around the edge, and maintains his speed around the bend. Very good spin move and very good bull rush. Tisdall has relentless pursuit, and doesn't give up until the play is over, or the ball carrier is in his grasp. Watch out for a breakout season from him.

Lacy had himself a nice outing through 5 games last season for Northfield. The 6'2 175 pound QB threw for 511 yards with a 70.7% completion and 6 TD with 0 INT. Lacy has good athletic ability due to good acceleration and speed. Lacy has good scramble ability, and roll out speed. He shows off his fluid hips during rollouts to the left. One thing of note about Lacy is his very good touch. He'll throw it over the LB and DB's heads making an easy catch for the WR. He has good pocket mobility and stays poised under pressure. Lacy demonstrates good accuracy, and makes good decisions with the ball not putting it in harms way. Keep an eye on Lacy going into this season.
