He's not afraid to hit<br><br>Check out the highlight at 1:06. Huck immediately diagnoses WR screen and launches himself out of a cannon for the TFL. That's a play I see most high school seniors struggle with. Needless to say, that play alone makes me very optimistic for Huck's development. Watch his entire tape and you'll see consistently great effort. At the middle school level, plays are going to develop a lot slower. Dahl played confidently, quickly, and was able to blow up a good number of plays simply because he was the superior athlete.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is an excellent foundation to build off of. Even when pressured, he does a solid job of finding a receiver and launching it. Then, 0:49 showcases a very accurate pass just over a defender's outstretched hands. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In order to become a productive player at the Varsity level, Freddie needs to clean up his mechanics. From head to toe, his mechanics are extremely inconsistent, and it hurts his accuracy and throw power. A handful of accurate short-yardage field goals, some extra points, and a few kickoffs. Most of his field goals have plenty of leg from 35+ yards out, which is a good sign. I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to kicking mechanics, but his mechanics look solid from what I can tell. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Longer field goals and good showings at camps could turn Boston into a college prospect. Offensively, Leach did his job well. Against JV defensive linemen, Leach did a solid job of making contact and driving the defender backwards. Transitioning to Varsity, Leach needs to fire off the ball faster, have a better first step, and he's got to keep his pad level low. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Defensively, the same thing. Leach made a handful of good tackles, but needs to have an extra gear of tenacity to perform well on Varsity.
