They have a strong defense, and if they can get consistent QB play, they could come together for a magical season. He has a big arm and and that arm talent is what you want in a starting-caliber quarterback. He battled nagging issues this offseason, but is healthy for the season. If the offense is stagnant to start the season, expect Sweeney to come in and let it rip. They are rolling out a new QB, and they'll likely want the signal caller to be comfortable. The best friend for that is a run game, and Filipe shows good patience, has the vision you want, gets through the first level, and blends physicality and speed. He isn't afraid to lower his pads and leave a defender feeling him. He is a physical back who will be effective in short yardage and in the red zone. He has a good frame, is strong, doesn't get moved from his spot, and can advance positioning while being locked in his blocks. I personally like him more on the defensive side.
