I recently finished a series on some of the top players in the lower classifications, but amidst that series and our NCHSAA conference previews, we haven't had much coverage of other associations, namely the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA).

Here, I'm going position-by-position to give readers an idea of which private school players to keep an eye out for this season. I've already looked at the top NCISAA players at the skill positions, so let's get to the big guys up front. Here are the top NCISAA OL to know.

Carr is a bruiser on the inside. With the ability to play tackle or center, Carr is a versatile lineman (who has played defensively as well) with massive power potential, despite average size for the position. Simply put, if he can get attached, he can bully defensive linemen, even bigger ones. He's shown some upside as a puller and as a pass blocker, two things he'll continue to improve upon as he develops.

The East Carolina commit has steadily risen in our rankings and we like what we see from the growing tackle. I'm interested to see what ECU does with him at the next level as he's a bit undersized for a tackle, but has the long arms and down-blocking abilities to play out on the right side like he does at Metrolina. He's a force in the hole as a puller and as he develops as a pass-blocker, the upside is obvious.

The mammoth offensive tackle has had a strong summer, earning several Division II offers after great camp performances. The all-state two-way player is an excellent athlete, especially for his size and can dominant at the left tackle position in the running game. I'm interested to see how he can refine his game technically because the size and power is exciting.

After playing as a guard as a freshman on varsity, Stauffer kicked out to tackle and flashed serious potential. One of the highest-upside offensive linemen in the state, Stauffer doesn't make many mistakes and he's a better pass blocker than most rising juniors. That profile of size, experience, and pass-blocking ability will earn him serious FCS and Group of Five interest.

After making it to the state title game last season with Corvian Community, Peavy transferred to Providence Day where he could get some run at center. We love young guys with snapping experience, as that's a highly-sought after profile for college scouts. He's powerful and big, and he's reshaped his body to get quicker off the ball this offseason.
