Seymour is an athletic gunslinger with a dynamic play style and a cannon of an arm. With a massive frame and good eyes, he can see downfield and sift through passing lanes. Seymour displays great mobility, constantly extending plays outside of the pocket and changing arm angles. He can throw off his back foot and even complete jump throws thanks to his athleticism. Romin also possesses great touch on deep balls down the sideline. These traits led to 1,800 yards, 15 touchdowns, and a first-team all-district nod in 2024. As Seymour chooses between a list of schools that includes Baylor, Mizzou, and Colorado, expect another electric and productive season this year.

A QB with the last name Daulton from a powerhouse program in Houston committed to TCU? That sounds familiar and like it may just work out. Anyways, Daulton is everything you want in a dual-threat leader at the helm. He throws with great accuracy and really drives the ball downfield with some noticeable extra zip on the ball. Daulton also possesses surprising wheels for a tall QB, constantly blazing by linebackers with his speed. While great outside the pocket, Jack also displays good mechanics and always goes through his progressions. After over 3,000 yards and 45 touchdowns last season, expect a monster senior year as Daulton prepares to take his talents to Fort Worth.

A true pocket passer with great arm strength and command, Smith is an ideal leader of a Texas high school passing attack. With great mechanics and vision, Grant excels at scanning the field, stepping up in the pocket, and delivering a bullet downfield. He also does a splendid job of evading pressure, rolling out of the pocket, and extending plays. Smith is polished in dissecting defenses and fitting the ball into tight windows, and with the throw power to back it up. In 10 games as a junior, the 6'4 slinger passed for over 2,100 yards along with 26 total touchdowns. The Grizzlies' QB1 should be in store for another big year as he looks to build upon an offer list that includes schools such as App State, Tulane, and Arkansas State.

Nothing comes easy when leading historically one of the premier offenses in all of high school football. But the Mustangs have the right guy for the job in the dynamic, dual-threat star that is [player_tooltip player_id='950558' first='Kaleb' last='Maryland']. With a quick release and great mobility in the pocket, Maryland flashes an almost Kyler Murray-like style of QB play. He thrives at eluding sacks, changing arm angles, and delivering deep balls off his back foot. The highlight tape speaks for itself, showing Kaleb launching balls over the secondary and using his legs to scamper past them. After a junior campaign that saw Maryland compile over 1,000 total yards and 10 touchdowns, I expect the signal-caller to take another step forward in 2025. He is set to commit to either UTEP, Utah State, Louisiana, Texas State, or Marshall later this month.

Another big arm pocket passer, Barker gets what he wants down the field and displays great touch on deep balls down the sideline. The South Texas slinger is extremely instinctive with strong pocket presence and quick eyes to find windows as soon as they open. Barker excels at slipping throughout the pocket and driving the ball forward in the face of pressure. He also demonstrates the ability to make plays outside the pocket off his back foot. Kyden had a stellar 2024 season, producing over 2,700 total yards and 33 total touchdowns. The recent Tulsa commit is in store for a grand senior campaign as he returns to the Knights' high-powered offense.
