A number of RBs had standout 2024 seasons. This season, several of those RBs who previously showed "flashes" will truly be able to shine this season. Here's five RBs who I feel have an incredible chance to shine in 2025.

It's [player_tooltip player_id='1260904' first='LJ' last='Gallihugh'] season!

One of those RBs who has risen to the occasion. Few RBs have improved as much as LJ. Physically, LJ is incredibly well-built. It's obvious that he's spent a ton of time in the weight room.

LJ has a very unique skillset. He's one of the few RBs I'd consider a receiving back first and foremost. Yes, LJ is able to deal damage between the tackles, but he's likely going to do his best work in the passing game. Screens, outside toss, reverse, and some reps at slot. More opportunities LJ receives in space, the better Midland's offense is going to be. Now is his time to trulty breakout.

Speed kills. TyAnthony has several Davison track records, and it's very likely that he'll have a breakout season.

I have not watched TyAnthony in person, but I am intrigued with his offseason clips. He looks considerably bigger, and I'm loving his potential in the pass game. I could see TyAnthony being an elite weapon. Love his potential in the slot, or as a regular checkdown target. Of course, his speed makes for an extremely high upside "standard" RB. I'm expecting TyAnthony to show flashes all over the field. There's a chance that he outplays his current ranking by a mile.

A super intriguing new addition to TC Central by way of Kingsley.

I've discussed Perry a couple of times this offseason. Showed a lot of promise at Kingsley, being generally above-average in all areas. As long as Perry has had a productive offseason, he'll be a great weapon for TC Central. There is some competition in the TC Central RB room, but I am confident that Perry will earn his touches. Improvements to all-around power and speed could propel Perry up the rankings.

Kason was a major weapon as a sophomore, serving as Reed City's featured back and kick returner.

He's a hard runner with above-average vision. Although Kason is not an elite athlete, I'm very impressed with his ability to navigate through traffic. Plus, he's not afraid to put a shoulder down. This season, I'd love to see upgraded contact balance as well as speed. I'm confident that we'll see an improved version of the player he was last year.

Redford Union is a sneaky good team, and [player_tooltip player_id='1688176' first='Tatum' last='Moore'] is a sneaky good player.

Best described as an athlete, Tatum is capable of making plays all over the field on both sides of the ball. Specifically at running back, Tatum sports above-average speed and contact balance. He runs much harder than the average back, and is not afraid of contact.

Otherwise, Tatum is a good weapon in the slot and a solid run defender at DB. Expecting an even better 2025 season from Tatum.
