PRZMI Exposure Series: Offensive Lineman Standouts

His test numbers were impressive and at the top for all events for offensive lineman. When it came to the competition segments he shined even more! Berg is very lean for a tackle but was still able to show his overall strength in the 1 on 1 sessions. His frame allows him to be very fluid and operate smoothly which is a big advantage for an offensive lineman. One thing I think separates him from other kids in his position is his high motor, Connor was on go mode all day from the first whistle. Throughout the day I seen him soak up coaching and apply it correctly to each drill like he was a veteran varsity player. He has great size for a kid his age which he knows how to use. In one specific 1 on 1 rep he went against the defensive lineman performer of the day and it was a good battle. He was probably our most undersized lineman but you wouldn't be able to tell by how he tested and his overall performance on the day. Repping at center, Coleman showed great bend and the ability to move with ease in all directions in his pass sets. In competition settings his low center of gravity allowed him to control bull rushes and counter moves. I was impressed by his quick feet and lateral movements in his pass sets which is very important for a Tackle. Balanowski tested in the top two of his position for almost all categories which I think speaks even more to his agility. What I liked about him was his nice wide base that he is able to generate power through. We got a glimpse of his athletic potential with a 40 time near the top of his position chart.
