Connor was a player I was looking forward to competing with the pads on and the senior Petoskey left tackle did not disappoint. Connor was an absolute force in the run game. Whether it was 4th and short or the Northman where just looking for a big play they just sent a back of left tackle and Connor blew massive holes for his backs to scamper through. on one play Connor washed down the defensive end and left a gapping hole for the back to run through leading to a 40 plus yard run. I was also impressed with Connor in pass protection situations. Conner used an excellent kick and solid hand placement to neutralize oncoming pass rushes. Very solid showing from Connor and I suspect more of the same this season.

Connor is another player that really took a major step forward this summer. Connor checks in as the #97 overall player in the state and has recently committed to Saginaw Valley State. The first thing you notice about Connor is his solid lower half. I was able to observe Connor at multiple camps this summer and Connor did not lose many one on one battles. I was impressed with Connors ability to stay on balance and shows a very solid punch in his pass pro reps. Petoskey is set for a big season and Connor will have a lot to say about the overall success of his team this fall.

Connor Berg Connor Berg 6'4" | 235 lbs | OL/LS Petoskey | 2027 State MI had a big day at Lawrence Tech. His test numbers were impressive and at the top for all events for offensive lineman. When it came to the competition segments he shined even more! Berg is very lean for a tackle but was still able to show his overall strength in the 1 on 1 sessions. His frame allows him to be very fluid and operate smoothly which is a big advantage for an offensive lineman. One thing I think separates him from other kids in his position is his high motor, Connor was on go mode all day from the first whistle. His performance earned him the top performer of the day!

Connor has become one of my favorite lineman I have watched on film. He does a solid job of firing off the ball and staying engaged with the defender. Connor will be a player I am looking forward to seeing at camp. I will be watching how well he handles speed and power rushes in one on one drills. Early indications say it will be a good day for him.
