Northern Michigan 2027 Stock Up Edition Part 1

The mitten state produces a ton of football talent. There are certain hotbeds that the state produces from every year. Northern Michigan has begun to produce a lot of big time talent. Let's take a look at some of the players you need to get very familiar with as the season gets rolling. Aidan checks in at the #34 overall player in the state and the #3 ranked tight end. The first that that stands out about Aidan is how well he moves for a player of his size. I was able to watch Aidan live this summer and he was a player that impressed with his attention to detail from the tight end spot. Aidan should extremely solid hands, catching everything thrown in his general direction. Aidan showed excellent straight line speed and also excellent cutting ability getting in and out of his cuts with fluid motion. Keep an eye on Aiden this fall. The Kent State Commitment is big time and will shine every time he hits the gridiron. Connor is another player that really took a major step forward this summer. Connor checks in as the #97 overall player in the state and has recently committed to Saginaw Valley State. The first thing you notice about Connor is his solid lower half. I was able to observe Connor at multiple camps this summer and Connor did not lose many one on one battles. I was impressed with Connors ability to stay on balance and shows a very solid punch in his pass pro reps. Petoskey is set for a big season and Connor will have a lot to say about the overall success of his team this fall. Max is another player that I expect to make a series mark in the fall. The Miami of Ohio commit is one of the most versatile defensive Lineman in the class. Max lines up inside or outside and overpowers lineman with ease. I am also very impressed with max's relentless motor he plays the game with. On multiple plays max runs down fleeing quarterbacks and he closes the gap like a defensive back. The #29 overall player in the state is a force to watch this fall and I am guessing his numbers will reflect the hard work max has put into the off season. Henry is another player that has a lot of intrigue heading into his senior season. The first thing you see on film is the versatility that shows up in every clip with Henry. Whether he is lining up at quarterback or running back he is a threat to beat you. Henry has an excellent arm and throws a beautiful ball from the pocket. He shows good arm strength and shows he can make all the throws. As a running back Henry shows excellent vision and finishes off runs with a lot of toughness. It will be fun to watch Henry attack defenses from different spots on the offense and anticipate Henry putting very solid numbers. Leland is another player who has potential to have a big senior campaign. Leland has put a lot of work in over the summer and it should pay big dividends this upcoming year. I really like Lelands ability to bend the hoop in pass rushing situations of the edge. He has a very good first step which makes it tough for some lineman to get a good handle on him Leland can also line up inside and get a good push in the pocket which has also led to multiple sacks. Keep and watch on this Gaylord defender this fall as his hard work is set to pay off.
