Film Study: Section 8,9 2026 OL

For this series we will be looking at 15 players in each position throughout the next three cycles. The Garden City star is a two sport athlete and also wrestles. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On the football field, Olson can play on both sides with tape as a Guard and Defensive Tackle. Guard is his main position, where he uses his physicality gained from wrestling to move players at will. As a prospect Nunez projects as an IOL who should gain weight to around 285-300 to improve his frame. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nunez has a quick first step and his quickness is visible on tape. He is great at staying inside of lineman and excels as a lead blocker. In Run Pro plays, he can lead his team with deadly blocks opening gaps for RB's. He is a dominant force upfront and a staple for this Elmont offense. With Collins on the line running behind him is easy as he opens up holes for his team with ease. He has skills and size we see in a DL and plays on both sides of the ball, making him a versatile threat for South Side. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Captain of his team has big responsibilities sharing snaps on both lines. As a prospect he has received multiple offers at the D3 level, with higher offers soon to come. He has outstanding strength and excels in space and in the run game. McCarthy recently was named the Top Lineman in The Rising Stars Bowl. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Farmingdale produced a 1,700 yard rusher this past season and McCarthy is a big reason why. His junior tape is unreal with pancakes across the field. His strength is on full display across his film which he uses to man handle anyone near him.
