Standing at 6’2″ 260 pounds, McCarthy has a solid build for the lineman position. McCarthy recently was named the Top Lineman in The Rising Stars Bowl.

Farmingdale produced a 1,700 yard rusher this past season and McCarthy is a big reason why. His junior tape is unreal with pancakes across the field. His strength is on full display across his film which he uses to man handle anyone near him. He has good hand placement and understands leverage.

McCarthy is having an outstanding summer and following an impressive season, puts himself on the list as a player who has the potential to rise up the rankings in a few weeks.

He was put to the test in the Rising Stars Bowl against some of the top defensive linemen from the city, and he was a baller. He received “Top Lineman” for his amazing performance in both run and pass blocking. He’s only getting bigger and faster— I think the Rising Stars Bowl is just the start of a huge summer for McCarthy.
