Standing at 6’4″ 305 pounds, Collins has an excellent build for a lineman. He hails from a wrestling background where his strength and hand placement is on full display.
On tape, he projects as a Center with the ability to play as an IOL. He is a dominant force upfront and a staple for this Elmont offense. With Collins on the line running behind him is easy as he opens up holes for his team with ease. In pass pro he has quality blocking using his strength and hand placement to keep his backfield clean from the Center Position.
Collins is a force on the Elmont line and provides a huge burst of strength and hand placement needed to lead his team.

Collins has been a cornerstone of Elmont’s offensive line and put together a solid junior season. He anchored the offense from the center position and dominated up front. Elmont wasn’t afraid to air it out, and Collins showcased quality pass protection while also opening up space for the run game. He uses his hands well and overpowered opponents last year. He’s only gotten bigger and stronger, and I’m excited to see him shine for Elmont this season.

Collins is a player I was able to see live at the downstate classic at SUNY Maritime. Not only is his size overwhelming for a defensive lineman, but he has great natural bend and athleticism. He is still developing his hand usage and footwork as a lineman, but he has natural athletic abilities that you cannot coach.

Collins is a raw prospect but the Elmont offensive guard prospect is really big and really athletic. Collins can still improve his overall hand usage and placement as well as his footwork. However, when I saw him work live at Downstate Classic in pads it is evident he is a very strong athlete and I would go as far as saying is his one of the most athletic OL prospects in all of New York.
