Usually, we have north of two dozen prospects that earn a rankings boost in a given update. This 2027 update was a bit different. Much of the reason comes from the giant number of new additions. With 28 new names inside the Top 100 and over 300 total New Additions, that's naturally going to bring most ranked prospects "lower" on the list.

Not these guys. Despite a massive number of newly-ranked players, these five have cut through the noise and still managed to earn a rankings boost.

It has not been long since I wrote about Micah.

The brass tacks is that Micah has shown considerable improvement over the past few months. Super raw last year, a ton of improvement this year, and someone who I expect to earn college offers next year.

Because of Micah's noticeable improvements in foot speed, punch, and all-around better pass blocking, he's earned a rankings boost.

Very few QBs earned a rankings boost.

I commend Wynn for his offseason. Straight-up one of the best offseasons I've seen for a QB. A stellar 7on7 season served to speed up Wynn's mind and make him much more comfortable as a pocket passer. He also did a ton to polish up his mechanics, which has also led to better accuracy. I am supremely confident that Wynn will continue his hot streak into the Fall season.

I'm confident that Steele will head to the varsity level and perform extremely well.

He's already shown he has what it takes at the JV level. In a mix of on-ball and off-ball highlights, I'm generally impressed with Steele's play speed and physicality. Included in these highlights are a number of stops near the sideline (when lining up off-ball) and instances where he perfectly sets the edge, fights through a block, and earns a stop when on-ball. I expect that same play speed and physicality at the next level- Steele could realistically jump the rankings even more after this season.

A potentially extremely underrated player residing in the OAA Gold.

I'm impressed with Gage's tape, and he honestly looks like he could earn college attention next offseason. I like how efficient Gage is with his carries. Click on his tape and head to 1:28. Here, Gage runs up the gut, finds himself with two men to beat, and easily beats them with a simple, quick juke to the left. In addition, Gage has a few blocking highlights in his single-game tapes.

There's a chance that I ranked Gage far too low. Even if I did, he's still a riser in this update. Can't wait to see what he's capable of this season.

A super promising receiver who hasn't sat on the bench this offseason. After an All-Region 2024 season, Parker has been sharpening his skills with various camps and other offseason competition. Lastly, Parker just concluded his track season, getting up to an 11.36 100M dash.

Then, considering Parker's size, I love the upside. Another dude who I could be ranking far too low. I hope Parker can continue to improve and cut through the noise in the crowded WR market.
