Wynn was a player I have seen a lot of highlights on film but finally getting to see him in person I walked away extremely impressed. Wynn showed excellent technique in the pocket and delivered a bevy of throws right on the money to his wide outs. Wynn also showed very good footwork as he moved out of the pocket and showed a ton of velocity on his throws while on the move. I was also very impressed with his command on the field while directing traffic in the 7 on 7 portion of the camp. I will be watching closely to see his summer development and how it translates on the field in the fall.

6'3" | 170 lbs | QB
H.H. Dow | 2027
State
MI
is a name we all need to remember for years to come. The 6’3 175-pound signal caller is the type of quarterback all coaches wish they had under center, from taking total command of the offense to his physical abilities. The All State quarterback was able to amass over 3K total yards of offense in his junior year and you can probably expect that number to jump in his final year at Dow. At this point of his high school career I am surprised he has not received any offers considering he has `participated in Elite 11, has very solid film and passes they eye test as well. On tape Wynn has demonstrated the ability to maneuver the pocket, be mobile when need be and make just about any throw you need a collegiate quarterback to make. He’s been very busy this offseason with scheduled visits and camps so I do not expect him to be offer less much longer.

Wynn is one of the highest risers in these rankings, going from #79 overall to #30.
Wynn is the only QB on this list who doesn’t attend a well-known powerhouse. He led Dow to a phenomenal 10-2 record, only losing to St. Mary’s (D2 State Champions) and Mt. Pleasant (D3 runner-up).
I had the opportunity to watch Wynn in the game against Mt. Pleasant. Wynn played with phenomenal efficiency, making quick, decisive reads all game. He’s one of the best QBs in the state in the IQ department, and probably the best QB when it comes to overall passing volume.
Even against St. Mary’s, I thought Wynn performed incredibly well. Yes, the increased level of competition did force Wynn to play faster, and he did look less comfortable than usual. Still, he was able to get outside the pocket and still make quick, accurate throws to the most open receiver. He had a few turnovers in that game, but I only thought he had 1 turnover-worthy throw.
Wynn has proven himself to me this season. He’s got the height, got the arm, and got the efficiency. I’ve done more homework on Wynn than just about anyone in the class, and I’m very confident in ranking him as a top 3 QB.

Wynn is one of the best QBs I have seen all season long. His control, poise and leadership were obvious right from the start. They had an early turnover and gave up a quick score, and he was immediately rallying his guys and getting their heads right before heading back out on the field. Beyond that, his arm talent was on display all night long. He was throwing it in windows, throwing deep balls accurately and making good decisions. I absolutely love what I saw from him and believe he will be a star throughout these playoffs and next season. He’ll be worthy of a higher ranking as well during our next round of those as well.

Wynn has been extremely impressive so far this season. When I scouted him against Mt. Pleasant, I was incredibly impressed with his accuracy and the way he saw the field. In a day when the run game couldn’t do anything, Wynn stepped up and gave his team a chance with his arm.
Through six games, Wynn has a 74.84 completion percentage, 1659 passing yards, and 17TDs. I know stats don’t nearly paint the full picture, but you have to admit that these stats are incredibly impressive.
Wynn looks like he’s playing 7on7 out there. That is a huge compliment. Most QBs I watch look much worse in the fall than they do in the spring or summer. The fact of the matter is that the bright Friday Night Lights and the addition of defensive linemen trying to sack you is far different than a run-of-the-mill 7on7 in March. Wynn, on the other hand, is on par with his offseason performances. Doesn’t look phased by any situation, and takes the game one play at a time. He scans the field and goes through his progressions much better than most QBs, and rarely throws an uncatchable pass.
I’m very curious to see how Wynn performs this postseason. I’m hoping Dow makes a run so we can see Wynn perform against elite competition. I’m very much considering Wynn as QB1.

After watching Wynn perform over the summer in 7-on-7s, my expectations for him rose significantly, and he is still surpassing them. Dow has put the ball in his hands often, and he has responded with poise, efficiency, and consistent production. Wynn shows a great release, good footwork and tremendous accuracy-far above many in his class, and frankly, the 2026 class as well. Not just on short and intermediate routes, but on vertical shots 25+ yards downfield, he delivers the ball with good touch right on the money. On film, Wynn looks comfortable and confident in the pocket. He maneuvers pressure well, keeps his eyes downfield, and consistently throws catchable balls to the right spot. He demonstrates the ability to extend plays and deliver accurate throws on the run, while also showing the discipline to drop back, set his base, and deliver strikes. His midseason film looks great, and I am very confident that he has all of the tools to make a program at the next level very happy.

Where do I start?
Well, Wynn outperformed expectations. I thought Wynn would do well, but I did not expect Wynn to be so efficient and have such a massive passing volume. I had to have seen 30+ pass attempts from Wynn.
Wynn reminds me a lot of Cason Carswell from Mason. Play style is very similar.
Wynn looked incredibly comfortable all night. Didn’t matter if there was pressure, didn’t matter if he was on the run- Wynn was calm, and did not allow any pressure to impact his throws. I only saw a few inaccurate passes, and those passes were inaccurate by a matter of inches, not feet. I very rarely see a QB look so unfazed. I can name several QBs over the years who had phenomenal 7on7 seasons who go on to look like a completely different (worse) player on Friday Nights. Wynn doesn’t skip a beat. It’s also notable that there were several drops from the Dow offense- so Wynn’s official statline will not paint the full picture.
Like Cason, Wynn’s mechanics and footwork can look a bit out of the ordinary. Normally, I’d nitpick. Though it obviously works very well for Wynn. As long as a QB is consistently accurate, I care little about nitpicking mechanics/footwork.
Lastly, I watched Wynn on the sidelines quite a bit. Again, he’s super even-keeled. Someone who leads by example. Constantly talking to his coaches and his star offensive tackle. There was a little bit of frustration aimed at his defense in the second half, but the frustration was more motivating than condescending.
After next week, I will have seen the vast majority of the Top 10 QBs in Wynn’s class. Next rankings update, Wynn should move up.

I’m excited to watch Wynn perform under the lights.
A big-time offseason riser. Wynn has greatly improved his mechanics and, in turn, accuracy. Watching him throw in the offseason, he looked consistent and had a few perfectly timed and placed throws.
Watching Wynn’s highlights against Saginaw Heritage, it seems that Dow trusts him to throw the ball 15+ times per game. In his highlights, there was some good quick game, and few great decisions (waiting to throw a screen that would have been picked off). There were moments where I thought Wynn held onto the ball for a tad too long, plus moments where the ball placement could have been better. Friday, I’m looking for confidence and consistency more than anything.

The week 1 highlights were exactly what I thought I would see! Incredible awareness in the pocket, huge arm and good decision making. Wynn was decisive and confident on all of his throws. Mechanics didn’t slip, even when he was under some heavy fire. He made a couple of big-time throws that not everyone can. He was patient and was able to buy himself some time when necessary. On top of that, he was also great on the ground when he needed to be and picked up some critical yards. I am definitely not stunned that Diegel had a big week 1, and I predict there will be some more big ones over the coming few weeks!

Very few QBs earned a rankings boost.
I commend Wynn for his offseason. Straight-up one of the best offseasons I’ve seen for a QB. A stellar 7on7 season served to speed up Wynn’s mind and make him much more comfortable as a pocket passer. He also did a ton to polish up his mechanics, which has also led to better accuracy. I am supremely confident that Wynn will continue his hot streak into the Fall season.
