[player_tooltip player_id='1624363' first='Isaac' last='Barksdale'] is a promising 2028 running back prospect for Robert C. Byrd who they expect to make an impact on varsity this season. Game film is limited for him right now to evaluate, but we were able to see him in person at a camp this summer. As his body develops and transforms, Barksdale will make leaps in his ability and could become a future star for the Eagles in time. His potential is obvious when watching him perform, so keep tabs on Barksdale as he gets more film posted and increased varsity touches.

Keyser is excited about 2028 LB [player_tooltip player_id='1701489' first='Cole' last='Holland'], as he played an important role for them as a freshman on varsity last season. He should take a nice step forward as a sophomore and be one of their top defensive players. Holland will also provide quality reps in the backfield on offense, but has a bright future as a linebacker prospect. He has an athletic frame for a young player and is a physical downhill runner on offense, which will translate to linebacker as well. Holland can cover ground and play short passes well in coverage for a young linebacker.

Another 2028 linebacker prospect to know is Robert C. Byrd's [player_tooltip player_id='1701488' first='Isaiah' last='Calvert']. He was a key varsity contributor as a freshman last season and will be a two-way player for the Eagles. Calvert reads and reacts well from his outside linebacker spot for his age and is quick to the ball. He's also a physical player who does a nice job fighting off blockers to play the run. Calvert will be a steady 4-year player for RCB and is an early top linebacker prospect in the 2028 class.

He has some juice with the ball in his hands and can break it outside or run hard between the tackles. Stone is worth keeping tabs on over the next three years as an early running back standout.
