We're just 50 days away from the High School Football Season! Now's the time to start making predictions. Here, I've got five potential breakout receivers in the OK Conference.

This could very well be Beau's breakout year. He's been sidelined for quite a while after suffering an extremely severe knee injury.

So, my expectations are honestly a bit tempered. Beau's injury is not an easy one to come back from, and I have not watched Beau compete since it occurred. What I do know is that when Beau is at 100%, he has incredibly high upside. A couple years ago, he was (literally) turning heads at our Prep Redzone Camp. Explosive, great ball skills, and a near-elite route runner.

I'm happy to see Beau attending workouts again and getting after it. Beau deserves a fulfilling season after being sidelined for a while, and I beleive Beau will have a fulfilling year.

After a lot of back and forth, I decided to put Tyden on the Watch List for now.

Though if I were to pick one receiver from this list to have a breakout year, it would be Tyden.

Earlier in Tyden's HSFB career, he was a super small, but extremely shifty slot receiver. Despite being the smallest man on the field for a while, Tyden was still able to consistently find himself open thanks to high-end footwork. Plus, he has some hops. Dude is explosive and reps the little things. Truly one of the most consistently eye-popping receivers during the offseason.

I'm still waiting on a good Varsity season from Tyden. Plus, I know that he's grown quite a bit. Most young athletes that I see hit a growth spurt tend to hit an athletic speed bump- completely normal.

There's no denying Korenstra's athletic ability. Take a look at his Track numbers- a 10.72 100M, 7.03 70M, and a 22.31 200M. These numbers are high end- Donovan Edwards didn't even run a sub-11 in high school!

Though, KV has little tape. All we've got from the past year is a 60-yard kick return touchdown. But even that showcases the high-end speed extremely well. This season, I expect KV's role to increase, and I'm excited to see how he's utilized. He'll absolutely be a factor in the return game. I'd also expect to see him be a focal point in the passing game. Perhaps some speed-in-space scenarios?

Owen is coming off an excellent JV campaign. Six TDs and north of 500 yards receiving is nothing to scoff at. Owen was primarily utilized out wide for Rockford. He's someone who would consistently look to take the top off of the defense. Add a few offseason clips to the mix, and I'm confident that Owen can keep being that deep threat at the Varsity level. Plus, he'll likely be a factor in the return game.

A fairly bullish ranking for Owen. With this ranking, I'm expecting him to earn D2 looks next offseason. I feel he absolutely has the upside.

Another speed demon.

A sub-11 100M, and a couple of extremely promising offseason performances. Ethan has the frame, athletic ability, and just enough polish to be a big factor in Muskegon's offense. If JaMier hits, he has a chance to be one of the best receivers in West Michigan. My biggest question marks right now are hands and IQ. I don't think JaMier has a ton of Varsity expereince and there's a bit of a learning curve when trying to effectively translate pure athletesism to efficent Varsity play. Considering his ranking, I am expecting JaMier to earn D2 looks next Spring.
