The QB Class of 2026 is going to put multiple athletes into the D1 ranks. The top of the Class is so talented and there are 5-7 really good athletes compared to the usual 1-2 that we see here in WI. When you get beyond that strong initial group you quickly find that the depth is also there with kids who will be recruited by the D2 and D3 levels when they get out to camps and show off what they have to offer. That group is the focus of our attention today. The QBs who are going to impress at camps, but maybe aren't ranked at the top. Get these kids on your radars as camps start to go into full swing.

One of the first kids that came to mind while building up this article was Burlington's [player_tooltip player_id='1220759' first='Grant' last='Sulik']. Grant has the building blocks to work on that could help him turn into a viable starting option at the next level down the road. He is coming off his first year as starter on varsity after his older brother headed off to North Dakota. Grant looks the part of a next level QB with his 6'4" 205 lbs frame. The '26 QB has a live arm to match that big frame. Even when scrambling around, throwing off platform or his back foot, Grant is able to drive the ball downfield into windows. When he is able to set and throw he can get the ball out quick and keep it on a rope with little air under it when he needs to be accurate and hit closing windows. Sulik also threatens the defense with his legs. He isn't a burner, but the junior had no trouble breaking contain, buying time, or picking up key first downs. I'm excited to see him get back on the field.

One of my favorite QBs that I have seen live this offseason is [player_tooltip player_id='1126287' first='Nick' last='Stellrecht']. Watching him in person has made me a huge fan of his talent. Not only does he have elite size, the kid has a big arm that fits the frame. Nick can so easily get his full momentum and force into the ball and attack every level of the field with velocity while still maintaining reliable, consistent control over his ball placement. The big man has a solid release that gets the ball out quick too. Nick makes it look effortless while pushing the ball all over the field, especially deep. I have a feeling he is going to be a big winner of the summer camp circuit and a big riser in our rankings.

Vincent is a kid that has talent at the QB position, but may even get looks at other positions outside of QB because of his athletic abilities. The summer camp circuit is a great setup for Vincent. He can turn heads and grab attention with his athletic testing, both long speed and examples of his short area agility, burst, and acceleration. Plus he is also going to be able to get plenty of reps to show off the arm talent he brings to the field. The 1,700 yard passer and 1,000 yard rusher is going to put on a show several times this summer and then lead one of the top teams in the state on Friday nights. This is a name to know for this summer and this fall.

I'm very excited for Max. Not only for this summer, but for this fall as well. GB Notre Dame graduates a lot of talent this summer, so there will be a lot of new leadership stepping forward. One of the returning leaders is QB [player_tooltip player_id='1262248' first='Max' last='Peirce']. Watch through his highlights and you see a QB that shreds defenses with his touch and accuracy. Whether it is perfectly placing it up the seam for his man to go get, or dropping it in between layers of defenders, Max has shown consistent control over his ball placement. He is going to spend the next month showing it off to coaches, and then he will be back on the field looking to help defend the team's State Championship.

The summer should be a great stage for the Hudson '26 QB. The 6'3" 180 lbs signal caller has no hesitation when it comes to his willingness to push the ball downfield. Cooper has enough arm to hit the deeper third, even when throwing off that back foot. The deeper downfield the more he relies on touch, and on the short-intermediate levels he can win with his timing, touch, and also drive the ball into spots. Cooper also is going to entice staffs with the athleticism that comes along with his arm talent and frame. I'm going to be very interested in seeing how he tests athletically because it gave defenses problems at times on defense.

Another intriguing dual threat QB is Waterford's [player_tooltip player_id='402808' first='Caiden' last='Dessart']. The 6'2" 180 lbs '26 is an experienced signal caller. Caiden has the arm to be easily push the ball 35+ yards downfield without having to lob a lot of air under the ball. He can keep it on a low trajectory and get it there with pretty effective velocity. The kid is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. You will see on tape how he finds a way to make things happen, whether it be a wild arm angle or platform to throw off or making plays with his legs. Speaking of that, Caiden is able to win with speed on the ground, but also run hard and be surprisingly elusive in tight quarters. I'm hoping we see a strong summer from the talented 2026 QB.
