The 6’5″ 230 lbs senior QB put up a valiant effort in Level 2. While his team came up short the senior signal caller put out one more strong representation of his talent on tape. The big man made several impressive throws where he had to show that he could drive the ball into spots. The throwing off balance also flashed the arm strength. Nick has a massive frame and a strong arm while still being accurate. The senior is clearly open to playing other positions too. Check out his tape. There is a college athlete there.

One of the bigger steals remaining in the Class of 2026 is QB Nick Stellrecht Nick Stellrecht 6'5" | 230 lbs | QB/ATH New Richmond | 2026 State WI . That feels even more true following his Friday night performance. He made big plays with both his arm and his legs, not something most 225 lbs QBs are doing at the HS level. On the ground Nick was able to get the edge and proved to be tough to drag down in the open field. The arm is the big attraction, though. Nick can rip it downfield on a rope when the situation or windows call for it. He was accurate, poised, and did a great job of keeping plays alive and keeping his eyes downfield. You look for next level QBs that not only have the special physical tools but the decision making and awareness of game situation. Nick showed it all off. Dive into his tape for yourselves.

Nick helped lead New Richmond to a big win in Week 3, and did it with his arm and his legs. The massive recruit is proving to be a viable threat for next level OCs. He has a huge frame that can generate field- stretching arm strength. Despite the big frame, Nick has clips showing that he can catch the snap and get the ball out instantly and accurately. What will surprise many is the athleticism Nick also brings to the field. There aren’t many 230 lbs QBs who can also keep it on read options and break free for 60 yard chunks. One of the biggest arms in the state remains uncommitted in New Richmond’s 6’5″ 230 lbs senior QB. The entire field is open to this general and he isn’t afraid to attack it all. The All Conference athlete is an impact player on the football field, hardwood, and baseball field.

We just talked about Nick yesterday, but we can’t talk about the best uncommitted QB talent and not include the 6’5″ 230 lbs passer. The massive framed athlete really impressed me with his ability to get behind the ball and drive it with power when needed. Between his rare frame, big arm, and solid athleticism it is hard to draw up anything you could want more. On top of the raw tools, Nick is also a 63% completion percentage passer and is a varsity athlete on the basketball and baseball team. He checks so many boxes that are looked for, so it can only be a matter of time before he earns his first offer.

I’m about to begin the 2026 Rankings update and believe that Nick has a strong shot at moving into the Top 100 overall and Top 10 at the QB position. So I’m surprised to see he doesn’t have an offer at this point in the summer. Hard to believe that schools don’t want a 6’5″ 230 lbs athlete with a big arm that can drive the ball to any spot on the field. An athlete who is a 63% passer back in 2024 while aggressively attacking every level of the field. On top of the impressive size and traits, Nick has only been playing football since he was a freshman, so he is only entering year 4 of his entire football career this fall. We have seen a few QBs commit this summer, so the big gunslinger out of New Richmond is right up there for best available at the position. That tells me things should start to heat up for him from teams still looking to add to that position for 2026.

One of my favorite QBs that I have seen live this offseason is Nick Stellrecht Nick Stellrecht 6'5" | 230 lbs | QB/ATH New Richmond | 2026 State WI . Watching him in person has made me a huge fan of his talent. Not only does he have elite size, the kid has a big arm that fits the frame. Nick can so easily get his full momentum and force into the ball and attack every level of the field with velocity while still maintaining reliable, consistent control over his ball placement. The big man has a solid release that gets the ball out quick too. Nick makes it look effortless while pushing the ball all over the field, especially deep. I have a feeling he is going to be a big winner of the summer camp circuit and a big riser in our rankings.

The biggest winner of the day was hands down Wisconsin standout Nick Stellrecht. A built three-sport athlete who attracted a TON of attention throughout the camp, Stellrecht has everything you’d look for in a college QB. He’s got a rare and promising frame as well as a dangerous arm talent. Stellrecht was able to hit every throw asked of him and could seen frequently showcasing his velocity, both of which led me and others to believe that he had one of if not the top arm talents in the camp. Wisconsin might have a rising star on its hands.

Nick Stellrecht was the lone QB in this group that did not play for Minnesota, but rather for Wisconsin. Stellrecht immediately got my attention with his impressive frame and raw power. Stellrecht was slinging the ball well throughout the showcase, hitting his targets well. I was really impressed with his deep throwing ability, and he seemed to always put the ball in the right spot to where only his receiver could go up and make a play on it. Stellrecht will look to finish off his run at New Richmond by leading his team toward a run for the state title after coming just short last season.

The biggest winner of the day in my eyes was New Richmond’s Nick Stellrecht Nick Stellrecht 6'5" | 230 lbs | QB/ATH New Richmond | 2026 State WI . Nick has a rare frame for the HS QB position. He already stands at 6’5″ 230 lbs, and the kid is outstanding at using that size to create torque and velocity on his passes. The junior’s right arm was the strongest of the day. It is impressive watching the entire field be open to the rising junior. He showed that he could flip his hips and fire the ball on a rope 10, 20, 30, 40+ yards downfield with accuracy. The big man also impressed with his ability to throw at different arm angles while on the move without having to sacrifice much, if any, arm strength on his passes. Most importantly, Nick was able to maintain really good control over his ball placement and accuracy while showing off the power. No doubt, Nick will be moving inside the Top 10 by the end of the summer and he should be on a every radar across the Midwest.
