We take a first look at the rankings of the class of 2029. Get to know these names!    Matsen is an exceptional talent and the clear top prospect in the 2029 class. He has the prototypical size for the position and should get over 200 lbs and end up around the 6'4 range. Matsen has exceptional arm talent, quick processing, and shows good pocket manipulation and navigation. He can vary his velocity, make the tight window throws, and layer his passes with ease. He will be nationally recruited and will be a top 5 QB nationwide in the class. He is a multi-year Power Four starter with early NFL draft capital in his ceiling.     Stroshine is an exceptional athlete and a two-way player. He is dynamic and an explosive, twitchy prospect. Stroshine moves well laterally, has a quick burst, and is an elite prospect. I like him as a defensive back a little more; he has good hip fluidity, natural instincts, and good length and closing speed. He'll be nationally recruited and be among the top prospects in all the states.     Mila is a tremendous athlete. He has great size and frame and should get to about 260 lbs. He is quick off the line and twitchy, which makes him a capable edge rusher. He has good speed, moves well laterally, and has good finishing speed. His size will allow him to work inside and be a nuisance to interior offensive linemen as he can win with power and bull rushers, has violent hands, and good power and physicality to go along with his explosive traits. He has a great ceiling and will be a Power-Four recruit. Great upside.     Shepard has great size and projects as a true X-receiver with great ball skills. He has good footwork, good off the line, has great ball-tracking skills, is strong at the catch point, and creates separation and moves well laterally. Shepard has good physicality and has a great upside. He's a Power-Four recruit and is an exceptional receiver for the class.     Hooper has a good frame and should get to about 6'3 and over 200 lbs. He has great mechanics, a quick throwing motion, makes off-platform plays, and the ball has great zip. Hooper throws a tight spiral, has great ball placement, and can make every throw. He's a player who will be a Power-Four starter. Great upside.     Casuga is a versatile receiver who can work inside or outside. He has great footwork, moves well laterally with good hip fluidity, and is good with the ball in his hands. Casuga creates separation with ease and has strong hands. He's an athletic mover with great upside. He'll get plenty of Power-Four offers.     Renteria is a great athlete and a two-way dynamic player. He has great hip fluidity, exceptional footwork, and great ball skills. He is strong at the catch point, and I prefer him as a receiver as he is a dynamo with the ball in his hands and can create on his own. His ceiling includes multiple Power-Four offers. Renteria is a great prospect for the class.     Manuma has exceptional arm talent. He can dot the ball anywhere on the field and has a big arm. The ball jumps out of his hands, and he reads the entire field. He has great mechanics, makes off-platform plays with ease, and is a player who has great ball placement and has good pocket manipulation. If he hits his ceiling, he's a Power-Four starter.     Satiu is a fun two-way physical player. He'll likely fall into an X-receiver role and has great footwork, is strong at the catch point, and moves well. With his physicality and size, he could end up being an athletic tight end. He's been an on-ball backer in the pas,t and it likely won't continue as his skill set as a receiver is tremendous, but that physical play is in his DNA.
