The amount of skill players during Session III of the Minnesconsin Mega Camp was almost overwhelming. There was so much top tier talent from across the Midwest that came out to show off their talents. So the notes are loaded up with athletes to shine the spotlight on. We start with a group of seven athletes from Wisconsin that separated themselves from the crowd while I was watching their groups. All seven are uncommitted, and most seem to be flying under the radar. I highly encourage you to dive into these playmakers. Let's dive in.

It was great to get an updated, close look at the Bay Port QB. There is no question that he looks the part of an upper level college QB. He checked in at 6'5" 210 lbs and on the field he proved that the passing abilities match the high upside frame. Matt has that prototypical throwing motion, gets the ball out quick, has quick feet but is poised through all his movements. The ball jumped out of his hands with velocity and his ability to really drive the ball into spots kept the velocity on the ball all the way to the hands of the receiver. The Class of 2026 is the best group of QBs I have seen and Matt is up there with a lot of the best of this Class, and when it comes to dual threats I don't think there is a better one in the Class.

Bryce absolutely tore up the Mega Camp. He checked in at an awesome 6'7" 203.5 lbs. He also did well in the combine, running a 4.47 shuttle, and jumping 31.3" in the vertical. But it was that right arm that I was looking forward to seeing in action again. I have said it before, but I love the quick release Ott has. Like cracking a whip, the ball is instantly out of his hands in a tight spiral. His command over his touch, velocity, and pinpoint accuracy were all on point all day long. Getting to stand behind him and listen and watch the ball leave his hand was impressive. The '26 has quick feet and hips and his overall full body mechanics while throwing the ball are so in sync. He has really improved from an already good QB back in 2024.

One of my favorite athletes of the day was [player_tooltip player_id='1220716' first='Brady' last='Kaufman']. Even among the group of very talented RBs his explosive burst/acceleration and agility stood out from the crowd. The '26 has a special ability to cut on a dime at top speed, then instantly get back to top speed. It leaves almost no room for error when a defender squares up with him 1 on 1 in space. Plus he has that straight line speed to beat angles and break containment on outside carries. The 6' 170 lbs incoming senior verified the athletic dominance on the field with elite combine numbers. He ran a 4.47 40, 4.33 shuttle, jumped 9'6" in the broad and 39" in the vertical. Brady is pushing himself higher and higher up these RB rankings.

An athlete I have been wanting to see for over a year now is '26 RB [player_tooltip player_id='948094' first='Tommy' last='Novotny']. I hadn't seen him live since his State Championship victory as a sophomore. The dude is looking very explosive and very fast. He is loaded up with that quick twitch agility that makes him a nightmare to contain, especially when he gets out in space. The '26 is one of those top end athletes that can go 0 to 60 in no time flat. The combine verified it with him running a 4.57 40, 4.11 shuttle, 9'6" broad jump, and a 33.4" vertical. This 2026 RB Class is loaded with electric playmakers at the top here in WI.

I have been a long time fan of the DC Everest WR, but what he did at the Minnesconsin Mega Camp even blew me away. The 6'3" 180 lbs 2026 WR crushed the combine, especially with that elite level frame. He ran a 4.47 40, 4.5 shuttle, hit a 10' broad jump, and a 35.1" vertical. We are talking about a massive athlete with speed to stretch the field, hands to maximize his catch radius, and the leaping ability to give his QBs a huge target area. On the field we got to see it all come together as he stretched the field, attacked the ball at the high point over DBs where they couldn't get it. He got open using his frame and strong route running. Xavier dominated the day with his reps and his combine numbers. He was the best WR I saw, and you can bet he is pushing towards the top of this WR class that already has multiple D1 commits in it. Get on this kid. He is a stud.

Another WR who put on a show during the Minnesconsin Mega Camp was Nathan Hale's [player_tooltip player_id='1622392' first='Jeremiah' last='Morris']. The 2026 checked in at 6' 177 lbs, ran a 4.53 40, 4.47 shuttle, broad jumped 9'2", and hit 36.1" on the vertical. On the field Jeremiah is a mismatch. He can rip the top off the defense with his top end speed. We saw it on the field and on tape as he erases any cushion and separates downfield. He is very talented at tracking the ball in flight and comes back to the ball to get it every time that the route allows it. His quickness in and out of breaks has helped him become a very effective route runner as well. Don't overlook this kid. He currently holds 1 D2 offer and 1 D3 offer.

This was my first time getting to see the 6'7" 230 lbs TE in person. There is no doubt that the 2026 looks the part with that massive frame and long arms. The big man holds 7 offers from the D2/D3 levels and 4 of them came following his camp performance. The big man is a matchup problem. He was too fast for the LBs in 1v1s and even when they were able to stay with him Brandon got to show off how he can use that size to box out opponents and also show off the strong hands to rip the ball away from danger. Wagner does really well running smooth routes. It is a huge boost to his game, being able to get open with route running on top of simply overpowering defenders to get into the right places. There are big things ahead for the three sport athlete. If you haven't looked into him, I highly recommend you do.
