2026 Greenbrier East TE [player_tooltip player_id='1137046' first='Grant' last='Burdette'] showed why we consider him the #2 tight end prospect in his class at the Fairmont State Elite Camp. The 6'2 220 rising senior came away with an offer from the host Falcons after a strong showing throughout the camp. Burdette is an athletic TE with quality size and proved so during testing with a 4.87 40, 107.75 broad jump, and a 4.5 shuttle time. Said size and athleticism proved to cause mismatches during 1-on-1s for opposing linebackers. He'll add to his list of offers throughout the summer and this fall as one of the best tight ends that West Virginia has to offer.

The vision for 2026 Wheeling Central TE [player_tooltip player_id='1473308' first='Max' last='Olejasz'] as a football prospect is coming together as he picked up his first college offer from Fairmont State after a strong showing at their Elite Camp. He's been a very good basketball player for the Knights during his high school career, a sport in which he's talented enough to play at the D2 level in college as well. Football, though, is where I believe his ceiling is the highest once he focuses on adding mass to his 6'6 frame. Olejasz is a project as a TE given his slender frame right now, but he has an athletic build to mold once he focuses on one sport at the next level. The athleticism is also there for Olejasz to utilize as a receiving TE, with the blocking aspect to be developed later down the line.

2026 Kiski (PA) TE [player_tooltip player_id='1539039' first='Hunter' last='Richardson'] was one of three tight ends in attendance at the Fairmont State Elite Camp who went home with his first offer from the host Falcons. Seeing him in person, there was no question why they pulled the trigger for his post-high school services as an imposing athlete. Athletically, there's room for Richardson to improve, but his sheer size and frame cause issues for defenders 1-on-1. I envision him also being a punishing blocker for his high school team based on the size and strength he showed on Saturday.

2026 Xenia (OH) TE Cayden Jenkins was another TE at the Fairmont State Elite Camp that I liked. I believe he has D2 potential even if the Falcons didn't extend him one, yet. Jenkins had the body and frame to be a TE or H-Back at the next level, with enough athleticism to be utilized in the passing game at times, but especially as a blocker. That was confirmed after watching his junior highlight tape as Jenkins showed plenty of physicality and selflessness, often times as a lead blocker in their run game.

Wheeling Central brought two quality TE prospects with them to the Fairmont State Elite Camp, the second being 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1137048' first='Troy' last='Mortakis']. He doesn't have the length that Olejasz possesses, but he is a well-filled-out athlete. Mortakis likely translates as an H-Back at the next level as a blocking first type of player with enough athleticism to flare him out in the passing game at times. He'd be a great value add for a D3 program if he slips through the D2 cracks with DE/EDGE potential as well.

2026 Bethel Park (PA) TE [player_tooltip player_id='1155997' first='Jovian' last='Smith'] has value as a TE or EDGE prospect at the next level, but elected to compete as a TE at the Fairmont State Elite Camp. He'll have some physical growth to do as a TE before he plays there in college, but Smith could develop into an H-Back in time. As an EDGE prospect, Smith is definitely worthy of D2 looks after watching his junior film, and appears to be his most natural position. Smith does possess ball skills as an offensive prospect if he can keep adding the size that's necessary to play there in college.
