Looking for a potential breakout candidate? Look no further than Middle Creek's [player_tooltip player_id='1328747' first='Lex' last='Sevilla'], a dynamic dual-threat who has been on our radar for some time. After patiently plugging away as the JV QB, it's his time to lead Middle Creek's varsity team. He completed 68% of his passes last season and now has the chance to really put up some numbers as a junior. He's not your typically first-year starter and I don't expect the usual growing pains, as I think he could come in and immediately look like a veteran.

It might be McCallop's time this year with the reigning state runners-up at Rolesville. McCallop can make it all go with great timing and a willingness to let it rip. Surrounded by great talent, McCallop never tries to do too much, instead focusing on distributing the ball to playmakers in phase. I have to give a shoutout to the way McCallop has set up his highlight tape as well. It's not loaded with random deep balls, but rather the first minute shows the type of throws college coaches are really looking for: deep outs, perfectly-timed curls and in-breakers, and the occasional layered seam route. I wish more guys would do that.

Broadway needs to be getting a bit more recognition for his contributions on a run-first offense. As a sophomore, he became more aggressive as a passer, something I personally want to see from young high school prospects. Broadway's size is all that's holding him back from a top-10 ranking and if he can grow even just another inch or two, he's a clear dual-threat Power Four prospect to watch.

Harnett Central isn't though of as a football power, but Howard is doing his best to change that. His rankings bump is the result of extra film study, a session that left me more impressed with his easy velocity and calm demeanor in the pocket. If you're going to be a pocket passer in this day and age, you better have accuracy and the ability to move around before the throw. Howard's pocket presence (Few sacks) and accuracy (65% completion percentage on 10 yards per attempt) are up there with the best in the state.

A true dual-threat, it's Sullivan's subtle movements that make the biggest difference. He's so good at making tiny adjustments both inside and outside the pocket to get his throws off accurately or make defenders miss in the open field. The arm will certainly work at the college level and it's a matter of experience and improving his ability to read the defense more than it is about the physical talent.
