Happy spring rankings update from the staff at Prep Redzone. This is probably my favorite rankings update of the cycle each year, as we've reevaluated several prospects after seeing them in camp settings and caught up on a few players we missed in the last update immediately after the season. We've got a loaded schedule of rankings pieces that started Monday with reports on the 2026 quarterbacks. Tuesday was about the running backs. Now, we'll hit the receivers.

This rankings update, I'm doing things a bit differently. Rather than simply telling you which players moved up, I'm going behind-the-scenes to say why they jumped, whether it was a re-evaluation, a camp performance, or something else.

At the time of our last rankings update, Voss had just one offer, an FCS verbal from Elon. In the three and a half months since that January update, Voss has picked up eight others, including an ACC offer from Boston College, leading to an April commitment. Voss is an advanced route-runner for a tall receiver and has the ball skills to boot. He's a guy I expect to continue developing over the course of the next year.

Despite having a few early offers, we were lower on Nicholson and we've corrected that in this update. A dynamic playmaker, Nicholson is versatile. He does a lot of his damage on screens and sweeps, yet still flashes excellent downfield ball skills and hands. He's a guy who could blossom into an early college contributor and he's hot on the recruiting trail, picking up half a dozen recent offers.

Finch was one of our biggest movers in the class, jumping from the mid-200s to his current position at 120. Finch has been excellent in spring camps and has been rewarded with some high-academic and service academy offers. He's a hard-worker who can take the top off a defense, despite having good, not elite, speed. He stems routes well and knows how to create separation.

I've written several pieces about Campbell recently, but held off on a full evaluation until we could move him up the rankings. He lacked consistent opportunities last season as the fourth in a group of talented receivers but caught 25 passes with no drops. His short-area quickness is an elite trait, suggesting potential stardom in the slot. A 4.09-second shuttle and great ball skills tell the story of a reliable receiver with the ability to drop defenders at the top of routes.

Elmore has blown up on the recruiting trail in recent months, landing half a dozen offers from Group of Five schools around the southeast. He has elite ball skills and a strong combination of speed, size, and strength. You don't normally see guys his size returning kicks or taking snaps at wildcat QB, but Elmore does all of that and more. With some more refinement in his route-running, I think he could end up a Power Four receiver by the end of the cycle.

Copper's NFL pedigree shows itself in his advanced route-running, something that is unique to him among most small-school prospects. Physically, he's probably ahead of his dad at this point in his development, a guy who has excellent size and the speed to take the top off the defense. I'd love to see him in a camp setting against some top corners, as I think there's room for him to move up even further in the rankings.

Waddell keeps creeping up towards the top of the rankings after a strong season and offseason. He's a guy I keep hearing will have a huge senior year, as he's putting on good weight and refining his already impressive route-running. He's a developmental Power Four prospect in that -- at this time -- it looks like he'll probably need a year at the college level before he becomes a reliable starter there, but there's plenty of untapped potential.

Credit to Matt Morrow for being ahead of the curve on Vaughn and even after a flurry of early spring offers, we only needed to bump Vaughn a few spots in the rankings. Still, his potential is exciting for college teams, many of which are recruiting him as a developmental tight end. He can go up and snatch the ball and has room to grow as a blocker. The physical tools are impressive.
