Recruiting Report 5/5- Newest Offers Around the State

As we head further into the offseason, the recruiting world only keeps moving.   Today, we are highlighting some of the newest offers and commitments across the state- these prospects are killing it on the recruiting trail right now and won't be stopping anytime soon.   As always, check out their tape below- we have so much talent here in Alabama, and you won't want to miss these prospects before they're off to the next level!    [player_tooltip player_id='681022' first='Anquan' last='Allen'] is a really talented 2027 DB out of Hoover who we've had our eyes on for a while now, and man, has he impressed.   Allen is a talented safety who can play the run and pass really well. I'm really impressed with his skills in coverage- he doesn't let anyone get behind him, is quick to react, and has the ball skills to break up and intercept passes downfield.   Allen is just as good playing the run- he's really good in pursuit and can cover tons of ground to wrap up and take down the ball carrier. I'm really impressed by how quickly he navigates the field- he's almost always near the ball and does a great job helping his defense create stops every snap.   Allen has picked up offers from Arkansas and Georgia Southern over the last few days   Check out some of Allen's tape down below, he's a talented prospect with a big year ahead:      [player_tooltip player_id='1631233' first='DJ' last='Waluyn'] is another talented member of Hoover's secondary who saw his recruitment open up this past weekend.   Waluyn is a talented safety that offenses have to look out for every down. Waluyn is quick, plays with a ton of speed and instincts, and can make huge plays on the ball in coverage. He's terrific at tracking and getting his hands on passes, frequently causing pass breakups and hauling in interceptions.   Against the run, Waluyn is quick to get downhill, is excellent in pursuit, and frequently hunts down the ball carrier to create stops by the line of scrimmage and in the open field.   Waluyn flew around the field last season, ending his sophomore year with 47 total tackles, 2 INTs, and 2 PBUs.    Just like his teammate [player_tooltip player_id='681022' first='Anquan' last='Allen'], Waluyn also picked up offers from Georgia Southern and Arkansas over the past weekend.   Watch some of Waluyn's tape from last season, you won't be disappointed:      [player_tooltip player_id='1622128' first='Will' last='Phillips'] is a super talented S prospect out of Hewitt Trussville who made some huge impacts for his defense last fall.   At 6'3 180, Phillips has great size and provides blanket coverage on smaller targets downfield. He's highly instinctual and is excellent at getting his hands on the ball, consistently breaking up passes and making some incredible interceptions downfield.   Phillips is great at defending the run- he's really athletic. plays with great pursuit, and consistently flies downhill to tackle the ball carrier near the line of scrimmage.   Phillips made plays all over the field last fall, ending his junior year with 52 total tackles (32 solo), one sack, and 3 PBUs.   Last week, Phillips picked up another offer, this time from Old Dominion!   I was seriously impressed with Phillips' tape, give him a watch below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1651353' first='Kade' last='Clemmons'] is a talented passer out of Muscle Shoals who caught my eye with his tape a little while back.   Clemmons<a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/kade-clemmons/"></a> is a talented pocket passer who can rip the ball all over the field. He throws with a ton of velocity, has impressive touch underneath his passes downfield, and does a great job hitting his WRs in stride for big plays.   I'm really impressed with Clemmons' ability to make plays under pressure. He stands tall in the pocket and plays with a ton of confidence, consistently delivering passes through contact and evading pass rushers to make some tough throws on the move.   Clemmons ended his junior season completing 115/197 passing attempts for 1941 yards and 20 TDs.   Since our last update, Clemmons has picked up his first two offers from Millsaps and West Alabama!   Clemmons is a talented player with some great tape, check him out below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1075805' first='Demarcus' last='Dale Brown'] is one of the most dominant prospects in the nation's 2028 class, and collegiate programs are already flying in with offers from all over.   Brown is a star in the making. He has great size and plays with tons of speed, leverage, and strength to work around offensive linemen and create huge stops in the backfield. Brown is an every-down threat who dominates the run and can rush the passer really well.   Brown is extremely disruptive. He explodes off the snap, can fight off multiple blockers, and has the motor to consistently make some incredible hustle plays. His pursuit and closing speed are super impressive to watch- it's super difficult for offensive lines to contain him.   Brown finished his freshman season with some impressive stats, ending the year with 90 total tackles (46 solo, 29 for loss), 10 sacks, 20 hurries, 3 fumble recoveries, and one INT.   In the last week, Brown has picked up offers from Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Baylor, and more!   Watch some of Browns' freshman tape and you'll see why he's getting this type of attention:
