Demarcus Dale Brown
About Demarcus
Expert Analysis
CJ Marable | Prep Redzone Scout
DeMarcus Dale Brown brings a physical, downhill presence off the edge. He’s a strong-bodied defensive end who excels at anchoring versus the run and squeezing gaps. Brown plays with heavy hands and uses leverage well to control offensive linemen at the point of attack. His power rush forces quarterbacks off their spot and creates opportunities for interior pressure. He demonstrates toughness and durability, battling through double teams and maintaining gap integrity. As he continues refining his explosiveness off the snap, his overall production ceiling remains high.

This is surprisingly my first close look at Brown, who is currently ranked as the number 1 overall player in the 2028 class in Alabama. He is listed around 6’1 230, size that will project him out as a pass rusher, especially when you factor in his first step explosiveness, speed, and pursuit skills. He is strong at the point of attack, has an elite first step, and will chase the football around the field, which is what the early P4 offers are based around.
