We represented Wilson's [player_tooltip player_id='452742' first='Michael' last='Glover'] at this event as he is, a tight end, a great one at that. Glover got the chance to get some individual work in, specifically at his future collegiate position. All this being said, I wanted to evaluate Glover from an athletic perspective, watching him work against DBs, watching him open up his stride in space would allow me to get an idea of Glover's pass-catching abilities, specifically whether or not he can separate against quick DBs.

6'3, 223 pounds, 9.5 hand size.

I was able to watch Glover run routes against much smaller/quicker DBs. To my pleasure and anticipation, Glover was not over-matched athletically. I was able to capture some promising reps showing off Glover's long speed and stride. Glover using his strength to not be knocked off routes, Glover's strong hands, these are all traits you can witness on tape. I wanted to see his long speed work, I wanted to see Glover explode out of his breaks, hip sinks, all areas that if proficient, would have Power Fours calling in an instant. I personally feel like I saw what I needed to see. This is an FBS-caliber tight end that needs to stay patient in terms of recruiting push. His time will come. Great build/physique, not too heavy where his athleticism is hampered, strong enough to align in the trenches and battle for space against backers and safeties. I came away pleased with Glovers' overall performance.

Surprised [player_tooltip player_id='1181798' first='Chase' last='Guers'] isn't getting more attention in the recruiting world. I know for a fact that Guers is on Patriot League recruiting boards, yet we have to remind ourselves that many FCS programs aren't offering 2027s right now. I preach patience. There's a lot to unpack concerning Guers, a lot to like.

The numbers above, coupled with his post-season tape, should have college coaches drooling. Guers was on the short list of wideouts in line for post-camp accolades, usually set aside for the best 1v1 workers during the WR/DB portion of the event. That means Guers was winning 1v1 reps, too. I managed to catch some of his 1v1s, you can see Guers stride and ball-tracking skills below. Excited to raise his ranking. FCS-grade.

An MVP-type performance put forth by Richland's [player_tooltip player_id='671915' first='Arnold' last='Mugerwa']. I expected nothing less out of the Top Ten 2027 wide receiver. Flashed the catch radius and strong hands that I've grown accustomed to. Stonehill and Bucknell spoke well about Mugerwa after watching him in person post-camp. Mugerwa's calling card is his length and hand-eye coordination, said traits were on full display for all to see and for DBs to try to throttle. Any reps that didn't go Mugerwa's way were likely because of bad balls his direction. Any time I looked his way, he was winning reps. Love the attention to detail Mugerwa pays at the LOS, he's taken strides here thanks to excellent training in the off-season.

An FBS wideout who looked the part in person. I have had the luxury of watching Mugerwa up close several times a year, I'm familiar with the ins and outs of his game. It was nice to see other coaches present rave about his next-level potential. A little validation in favor of his favorable ranking.

I had ten wideouts present whose performances left an impression on me. One of those ten was Hempfield's [player_tooltip player_id='953537' first='Orion' last='Abrams'].
A blend of burst/twitch and acceleration. Nuanced in and out of his breaks, I can tell he pays attention to detail when training/developing his release. Great lateral agility early on in reps, great burst upfield to eat up cushion working against off coverage. We had a good amount of big-bodied wideouts who garnered attention because of their length. We had a crop of small slot weapons who wowed with agility, Abrams was the perfect blend of each. Excited to raise his ranking a bit moving forward.

The best wideout present, the best performance by any wideout present as well. This of course my opinion, as many college coaches and media present wanted others to be named WR MVP. I thought the decision was an easy one.

[player_tooltip player_id='1506871' first='Trey' last='Smith'] looked like the most recruitable prospect present. A fantastic strider that no DB present could keep up with, if Smith had the opportunity to open up his gait. Hands strong enough to catch balls feet away from his body. Surprisingly undeterred by physicality, as Smith fought off holds and pulls after running crossers only to still catch contested balls. Smith's game isn't designed to win in a phone booth or underneath 5-7 yards. That being said, Smith was unguardable during 1v1s, specifically when attacking DBs 8+ yards off the LOS. Comebacks, nines, posts, digs, all routes Smith dominated at this event. Too much length, too much stride on too much of a seasoned pass-catcher. Excited to see him earn more next-level opportunities.
