Trey Smith Trey Smith 6'4" | 176 lbs | WR Archbishop Wood | 2026 State PA is a big (6’4″) and athletic wide receiver from Archbishop Wood. Even though he is taller, he is still an athletic wide receiver. The way he gets in and out of his breaks is excellent. He also shows a good ability to catch the ball. Smith is a talented wide receiver who currently has offers from the Army, the Navy, Stony Brock, Bryant, and others. He has a chance with a strong senior year to add to this list as well. Regardless, Smith is a wide receiver with a ton of potential.

The best wideout present, the best performance by any wideout present as well. This of course my opinion, as many college coaches and media present wanted others to be named WR MVP. I thought the decision was an easy one.

A verified 6’4, 176 pounds. A verified 9’8 broad jump, as well as a 4.69 40 time.

Trey Smith Trey Smith 6'4" | 176 lbs | WR Archbishop Wood | 2026 State PA looked like the most recruitable prospect present. A fantastic strider that no DB present could keep up with, if Smith had the opportunity to open up his gait. Hands strong enough to catch balls feet away from his body. Surprisingly undeterred by physicality, as Smith fought off holds and pulls after running crossers only to still catch contested balls. Smith’s game isn’t designed to win in a phone booth or underneath 5-7 yards. That being said, Smith was unguardable during 1v1s, specifically when attacking DBs 8+ yards off the LOS. Comebacks, nines, posts, digs, all routes Smith dominated at this event. Too much length, too much stride on too much of a seasoned pass-catcher. Excited to see him earn more next-level opportunities.

Trey Smith Trey Smith 6'4" | 176 lbs | WR Archbishop Wood | 2026 State PA is obviously a bigger receiving target, and one of the biggest who will be at the PRZ Showcase. But, I want to see if he can be a dynamic weapon, with good hands to back the size up. If I see these things from Smith, he will definitely peak my own and many others in attendance interests.
